Ergo Wind srl can boast of thirty years experience in the field of renewable energies as a producer of low environmental impact systems. The core business is represented by small wind turbines with a power of 20kW and 60kW, both designed and manufactured in our factory located in Pesaro. In addition to the production completely Italian made, exception made for the blades which are manufactured in Denmark and the drive slew yawing manufactured in Germany. Our staff is able to offer technical support on site, due diligence, structural design. Our company policy is full transparency, we offer to all our customers the possibility to visit our factory where we show all our manufacturing process, again we support our customer giving the possibility to obtain data and statistics of their working wind turbines. The after sales service is ensured and managed by official authorized Ergo Wind centers located in different areas in order to provide the best and fast technical support. Our wind turbines are designed and manufactured according to IEC 614002. Every mechanical and electromechanical parts are realized by primary and qualified European companies in order to ensure maximum reliability, efficiency and longlasting operation.

DIRECT MATCHING TO GRID WITHOUT INVERTER Our wind turbines match their asynchronous generators directly to grid without inverter (obviously, through the interface system required by Grid Managing Authority). This characteristic allows to avoid inverter losses and reduce probability of electronic breakdowns. VARIABLE PITCH The rotor hub is designed to allow pitch regulation according to the site characters. The pitch setting can be modified during installation and maintenance in three different positions. It can influence power curve output at low wind, average speed and maximum power. 20/24/30 mt TOWER WITH HYDRAULIC SYSTEM Standard system involves a steel tower controlled by a hydraulic device which allows to improve operation during both installation and maintenance. Crane is not required for tower elevation and it is possible to access to the nacelle very quickly just lowering in approximately 20 minutes. YAWING SYSTEM Yawing consists of several parts integrated in a worm gear slew drive of German brand. The system guarantees both high rotation torque and maximum stability during operation. Hydraulic motor involves advantages in terms of performance and reliability. SAFETY LEVELS Three different safety levels are provided to ensure maximum security through hydraulic positive brake, electromagnetic brake and passive rpm limitation thanks to aerodynamic tip brakes located directly on each blades extremity. Tip brakes are switched by centrifugal force with 10% overspeed. PLC CONTROL Every control function is performed by a PLC system control included in the electrical panel of the machine. The controller manages both ordinary operation as wind facing and emergency control as hydraulic actuations. Electronic components are selected from Japanese brands with high quality manufacturing standard. AERODYNAMIC BRAKING SYSTEM WITH CENTRIFUGAL SWITCHING Tip brakes system ensures a braking application which is independent from whole hydraulic and electric automation. This is a three levels safety feature because each blades can decelerate the main rotor in emergency conditions. The blades tip is switched by centrifugal force at 10% overspeed and kept inside during normal operation by a tough spring. GPRS MONITORING SYSTEM The control system is provided of a GPRS modem which send over 50 data every 30 seconds. It communicates to our server operative data in real time as wind speed and power, outputs, alert messages. It works through a simple SIM card. The customer can access to data with a dedicated username and password.
