Branch Manager This position directs the daily activities of the branch, including but not limited to coaching staff to utilize sales and service skills to build strong financial relationships with members, developing branch staff to meet and exceed sales and service goals while exemplifying the credit union mission and vision, and managing risk through adherence to established policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES Foster and maintain a highly motivated and well trained staff while maintaining effective employee relations. Support hiring efforts of qualified applicants. Lead effective sales and service meetings and related activities for both the Credit Union s consumer and business product lines. Create and maintain a cross selling environment within the branch. Ensure that the branch is in compliance with Credit Union board established policies and procedures for branch operations including credit union internal controls, and federal and state laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies. Evaluate the job performance of branch staff to ensure quality of work and service to members. Schedule and cross train adequately to ensure effective branch succession and efficient branch operation. Conduct loan interviews, originate, process and close personal and commercial loans. Monitor branch activity, including number of transactions, volume, teller errors, loan volume, product sales and new accounts. Recommend and monitor budget to management relative to the physical, human resource and other costs of the branch operation. Be the Credit Union representative at community networking events. Conduct outside sales efforts, as required, to bring in new primary relationships, while also maintaining and expanding existing personal and business banking relationships. Maintain established levels of business etiquette including but not limited to Dress Code and cell phone usage to ensure professionalism at these events. Manage the security and safety of the branch. Analyze and monitor security and safety policies and procedures on an on going basis. Ensure that staff receives on going training on security and robbery procedures. Monitor branch operations and appearance to ensure a consistent, professional approach. Appearance and operations include, but are not limited to, adherences to Credit Union branding, dress code, ATM and branch facilities codes, branch staff levels, BVS training requirements, as well internal and external service standards. Assist staff or members in solving complex account problems. Support the Credit Union s participation in the Thomas Jefferson Area Earned Income Tax Credit Coalition and oversee branch related activities. Participate as an active member of management by providing recommendations for operational efficiencies, cost savings, policy and procedures, sales and service, and product enhancements. Manage branch staff. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, coaching, training and evaluation of these individuals. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees in sales, service, operational policies and procedures and financial literacy; planning; assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS: The Branch Manager is expected to attain branch goals for consumer and commercial savings, lending, account relationships, transactions, profitability, and service standards as established by senior management. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor s degree (B.A.) from a four year college or university; plus three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technically savvy, sales oriented background preferred. Related work experience may substitute for education. Closing Agent Members Title & Escrow LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of UVA Community Credit Union, one of the largest financial institutions based in Central Virginia and located in Charlottesville, VA, has an immediate need for an experienced Closing Agent. This established title and settlement company serves home buyers and sellers, lenders, real estate professionals, commercial property professionals, builders and others involved in residential and commercial property transactions. In this role, you will conduct real estate settlements, be responsible for all pre and post closing processing; perform disbursements and recordations; assist with general office tasks such as answering phone, greeting members, and filing; and participate in business development activities as needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet customers enthusiastically and professionally, either in person or over the phone, with emphasis on representing the company in a way which builds customer relationships and a positive corporate image Answer customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner Build and maintain productive relationships with all customers; take responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty Participate in department marketing activities which may include attending after hours functions as requested or required Act as liaison with all parties involved in the transaction, e.g. buyer, seller, listing agent, buyer agent, lender, attorney Pre closing: Determine escrow requirements by reviewing and clarifying buyer, seller and lender instructions Obtain clear title by ordering title reports, resolving title defects, satisfying existing liens and encumbrances against property or principals; provide a pro active approach in notifying customers of potential roadblocks or issues Review contract, pre type, prepare and deliver balanced and error free settlement statements Prepare other required real estate documents Prepare and deliver balanced and error free HUD1 settlement statements for lender approval using FHA, VA, and Conventional lending guidelines Gather all file information required to close transaction Prepare and organize lender loan and real estate documents in preferred order and copy for physical presentation

Closing: Review lender and real estate closing instructions for closing conditions, endorsements, and disbursement of proceeds Review all closing documents for accuracy in names, address, and legal as outlined Describe closing and lender documents according to Presentation Standards and obtain signatures, collect accurate amount of good funds and satisfy title and lender requirements Post Closing: Claim wires and/or deposit good funds Balance file; disburse funds and documents according to instructions from mortgage company, payoff lender, title and other appropriate parties Proof recording documents for typographical errors, signatures, notary, and/or recognize omission of data; record documents with appropriate state/county agency Resolve all post closing quality reconciliation issues Other Duties: Assist in training new employees Ensure workload is completed in timely manner by securing additional resources if needed Coordinate with assistant in processing functions; establish and maintain a joint filing system for processing efficiency Maintain and manage closing reports to office expectations Identify opportunities for systems improvement Proficient adoption of closing strategies Perform other related duties as assigned by manager; overtime may be required at high volume Commercial Business Development Officer This is a great opportunity for an experienced commercial lending professional to join a talented Business Services team and work with Central Virginia s largest member owned financial institution. Based in Charlottesville, VA., University of Virginia Community Credit Union employs over 170 people in 12 full service branches, 2 student run branches, and 2 administrative locations. In this role, you will develop existing and new relationships with business professionals in the Credit Union s chartered communities (trade area) and support branch staff, and retail / consumer associates to meet the Credit Union s growth goals. The technician will focus on help desk administration, hardware and software deployment, and 1st and 2nd tier support for computing hardware, software, and networking systems. Qualified candidates will have 2 years of experience in the following areas: managing support tickets utilizing enterprise ticketing systems; supporting proprietary and standard software applications; supporting phones, network connection, servers, and remote users; and Linux, Windows, MacOS, & VPN, Microsoft Office, and Active Directory. Financial industry experience is a plus. Member Service Representative (MSR) As an MSR, you will provide professional, courteous service to members; open new accounts, certificates, and IRAs; and maintain expert knowledge on all credit union products, services, and current promotions to actively cross sell and make appropriate referrals. This position also requires training as a teller to provide back up as needed.
