The quality and professionalism of the program is an example for other technical colleges to follow. Pat Conlin, Police Lieutenant, Stoughton Police I found that the teachers [at MATC] were extraordinary, because they had lived what they were teaching and could teach from experience. It was easy to relate to them. Andy Smith, 2000 MATC graduate and police officer, Janesville Police Department Four of our nine full-time personnel have completed the MATC Fire Academy and the associate degree program. Many other members of our department, volunteer and paid, have participated in both programs. They come to us more than prepared and ready for fine tuning regarding our operations.
