Thanks, so much, to both Mardon Group and PABC for making my membership so valuable - both to my profession and to me personally! Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia (PABC) Member Scott Brolin, Physiotherapist We have just recently subscribed to the AMA Office Package Program offered by Mardon Group Insurance and I wanted to pass along our experience... From the very beginning, [Mardon s Representative] came across as being professional, well prepared and very responsive to our needs. She responded quickly and thoroughly to my questions and was able to get our coverage in place in a very timely fashion. I have been very impressed Dealing with Mardon has been a very pleasant experience and we look forward to continuing this relationship with Mardon Group. Patty Hopkins, Account Administrator for Dr. Ma, Member Alberta Medical Association (AMA) MARDON GROUP PHILOSOPHY The philosophy of Mardon Group Insurance is that successful programs are built upon successful relationships. With the leaders of the respective associations, societies, and employer groups having confidence in the qualifications of MGI and key team members, and with Mardon Group Insurance consistently providing exceptional value with its service, products and pricing, MGI delivers on its philosophy everyday. MARDON GROUP A PROFILE Mardon Group Insurance (MGI) is an insurance brokerage designed specifically to meet the needs of Group members. The Group may be an association, a member-based group, or the employees of a particular employer. WHAT IS THE MARDON GROUP PROGRAM? It is a value-added benefit, which you can provide to your members or employees AT NO COST TO YOUR ORGANIZATION. It provides them with a discounted group rate on their personal insurance coverages, such as homes, condominiums, rented apartments, seasonal dwellings, boats, trailers and cars. For members with commercial insurance needs such as offices, clinics, service and retail establishments, professional liability and more, customized group plans are also available with a discounted group rate. WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES TO YOUR MEMBERS OR EMPLOYEES? Generally lower cost and superior coverage compared to what is available on an individual basis in the standard market. Access to highly desirable, customized insurance products and services often unavailable to individuals through regular retail insurance channels. Satisfaction of knowing that their organization is working to provide them access to such superior, specialized benefits ( and at no cost to their organization). Access to on-line quotes 24 hours per day at their own convenience. They will not be contacted unless they request it via email, phone, fax or in person. Individual member participation in the program is strictly voluntary. Security knowing policies are underwritten and financially backed by leading national and international insurance companies.

HOME Insurance Coverage Highlights STANDARD MARKET WHY SHOULD YOU CONSIDER A GROUP PROGRAM? HOME, BUSINESS OR AUTOMOBILE A Mardon Group Insurance program for your members or employees can be provided at no cost to your organization. Members or employees of your organization benefit from group buying power and you will be recognized as acting proactively on their behalf. A Mardon Group Insurance program is perceived as a logical and appreciated extension to any existing total benefits package that your organization may provide. If there is no existing benefits package, then such a benefit to members may definitely be valued. The Mardon Group Insurance program can extend to retirees and eligible members dependents living at home. You are in control you have full authority over how Mardon Group Insurance products and services are marketed to your group members. WHO UNDERWRITES THE PROGRAMS? The programs are underwritten for Mardon Group Insurance by various leading national and international insurers depending on the type of group, the specific needs of its members or employees, and the province(s) in which it operates. WHAT IS THE ROLE OF MY ORGANIZATION? All that is required is your help in informing your members or employees about the programs. There is no cost to you and we administer the programs. We do not request member or employee lists or contact information. Your members or employees are merely apprised periodically of the availability and benefits of the products and services and they are provided 24-hour access to on-line quotes. They are only ever contacted directly should they request it. Potential Premium Savings Coverage up to full policy limit for theft of personal property from your vehicle $1,500 limit for theft of personal property from your vehicle The amount of personal property carried in your vehicle may vary considerably during the year. On a road trip or driving holiday, you may take more personal property than you would normally keep in your vehicle on a daily basis. With this coverage, you will not need to worry about a reduced coverage limit or count the number of CDs you leave in the car! $150,000 Bylaws Coverage $10,000 Bylaws Coverage New building code bylaws are introduced at various times. Some homeowners face the prospect of having to comply with setback bylaw requirements if their home is significantly damaged by fire. In these cases, the foundation or footprint of the house may have to be shifted to comply with a bylaw. A higher limit for Bylaws Coverage may reduce a homeowner s concern about increased repairs or rebuilding costs caused by bylaws requirements. $10,000 Coverage for Business Property On-Premises $5,000 Coverage for Business Property On-Premises This higher limit enables you to take more of your business property away from your office, as and when you need to, without necessarily having to purchase additional coverage which may reduce your chances of having an underinsured loss. $10,000 Coverage for Business Property Off-Premises Not Covered A home-based business may require some business property to be temporarily taken away from the premises (e.g. a laptop computer or product samples). This coverage provides protection without having to pay extra premiums. $1,000 Coverage for spare automobile parts Not Covered Spare seats, engine parts, or other parts may not be covered under your automobile insurance policy and are usually excluded by your home insurance policy under the automobile equipment exclusion. This feature provides coverage for some spare automobile parts you may have in your garage, on-site storage locker or elsewhere in your home. $2 million Coverage for Bodily Injury and Property Damage Liability $1 million Coverage for Bodily Injury and Property Damage Liability Higher liability limits are recommended to protect your financial well-being. The Mardon Group Insurance program includes $2 million personal liability coverage in the package premium. Limits over $2 million may also be available upon request. $2,500 Coverage to replace the locks on your home $500 Coverage to replace the locks on your home If the keys to your home are lost or stolen, a higher coverage limit may better enable you to change locks on your home in an endeavour to prevent a potential burglary by the people who stole or found your keys. No deductible applies to this coverage. MARDON GROUP PROGRAM }UP TO 20% OR MORE IN SAVINGS STANDARD MARKET $2,500 Coverage to replace the locks on your automobile Not Covered This feature complements the coverage for the locks on your home. Changing the locks on your automobile may help prevent its theft should the keys to it be lost or stolen. No deductible applies to this coverage. Coverage up to full policy limit for student property $10,000 Coverage for student property If you have one or more children away attending school, this coverage ensures that adequate insurance should be available to cover their personal belongings. $5,000 Coverage for relatives property in nursing home Not Covered This coverage provides protection if you have a relative in a nursing home. Most people do not have many personal belongings with them in a nursing home and this feature helps them to protect their belongings without necessarily having to buy an insurance policy themselves.
