Discussion After selecting the Restore wizard you are presented with the following page. Figure 1: Restore type page Restore. This option is used to perform a normal restore. It can also be used for a Manual HeadStart Restore (HSR). Resume aborted restore. This option is useful when a restore was aborted (for example following a power failure) as it will continue from where it left off. Restore subsequent incrementals. This option is to be used with a HSR when a restore of a base has been completed but the HSR has not been finalised because there are further incrementals to apply. Finalize an HSR restore. After selecting Next and progressing through the Backup Image To Restore and the Restore Destination pages, you are presented with the following page. Figure 2: Finalization options page If you are performing a normal restore, the above options should be selected. Select Next. If you are performing a HSR restore, uncheck the Finalize the volume at the end of this restore option and select Next. You are presented with the following page. Figure 3: Specify the restoration options page If you are performing a normal restore, select the MBR and Track Zero Options as per Figure 3. Select Hardware Independent Restore Options as appropriate and select Next. You are taken to the Wizard Summary page. If you unchecked the Finalize the volume at the end of this restore option (refer to Figure 2), then the Specify the restoration options page is not displayed and you are taken to the Wizard Summary page. If you were performing a HSR restore, then following the initial restore if you look at the Disk Map tab, you will see something along the lines of Figure 4. Figure 4: Disk Map tab Continue to restore more incrementals if required and after you have restored the final incremental, select the Finalize an HSR restore option (refer to Figure 1) and you will be presented with the following page. You will then be presented with the Specify the restoration options page (refer to Figure 3) and after selecting Next on this page, you will be taken to the Wizard Summary page.
