The BAE in Elementary Eduation with a STEM onentration has oursework that leads to an elementary eduation teahing ertifiate and highly qualified status in siene or math. This program differs from the Elementary Ed degree in that it offers students a firm grounding in math and siene ontent with urrent researh and best praties, aompanied by real-world lassroom experiene in math and siene lassrooms. How wi ll the new onentration omplement the existing degree program? There is a growing demand for STEM eduators nationally, espeially in elementary and middle grades. This major wi ll produe gradautes who will meet the growing demand for STEM eduators, speifially in math and siene.
