2013 Essex County College [LAB SOFTWARE INVENTORY]
August, 2013 This document contains current list of software available on all of the machines in the computing labs operated by ECC. The software in this inventory is a result of conversations, correspondence, and negotiation with key members of the ECC community. To all who participated, thank you for taking the time to sit down with me and discuss this initiative. We have made our best effort to create an environment which will facilitate a wide scope of Academic Computing needs; however, in case we did leave anything out, we do have a process through which requests may be made to add additional software to designated labs. If a faculty member requires the use of an unlisted software, a request must be made through the department Chairperson or Director. The Chairperson is asked to contact me with the following information: 1.The software license. 2. Desired installation location. 3. Installation documentation. Software will not be installed in the Academic Computer Labs without the appropriate license and authorization. As time is needed for installation - to assemble the required resources, software testing, and deployment -- software will be deployed within two weeks of the request. Best regards, Yelena Lyudmilova
