In this position, I provided extensive

2 data and support for a total of 4 APA self-studies for both Ph.D. and Psy.D. programs. The collection, analysis and report of OPT data related to supervisor evaluation of students and student evaluation of practica and internships were a critical piece in demonstrating educational effectiveness in our APA Self Studies. CPPR Coordinator ( as Assistant Professor): As CPPR Coordinator, I administrated the clinical proficiency examination for all third year students. Within this role, I organized the entire examination process whereby approximately 85 students each year presented clinical cases to faculty members. In addition, I created advising documents and conducted 2 workshops each year to assist students with case presentation skills. I also conducted orientations each year to faculty to discuss CPPR evaluation criteria and improve inter-rater reliability. I provided substantial assistance in the preparation of Self Study data for both Psy.D. and Ph.D. programs by organizing and compiling CPPR data to show outcome results for educational effectiveness. Associate Psy.D. Program Director : As Associate Program Director, I assisted the Psy.D. Program Director in various functions related to academic program delivery. I assist in responding to APA accreditation feedback, revised the Psy.D. Research Manual, conduct Psy.D. research orientation, organize research matching fair, oversee the research matching process. In addition, I serve as the Coordinator for the Doctoral Respecialization Program (DRP). California Psychological Association Division II Board Member : As board member for CPA Division II on Education and Training, I worked collaboratively with board members to develop initiatives for the organization, oversee budget, and work collaboratively with CPA Div II Chair on various projects. I served as Conference Chair of the Northern California Supervision Conference from which raised over $15,000 for CPA. Within this role, I developed the conference topic, recruited the keynote speaker, designed the conference agenda, and gave presentations for 4 conferences. Chair Psy.D. Curriculum Committee : As Chair of the Psy.D. Curriculum Committee, I took the lead role in planning a new delivery model for curriculum which included the creation of block scheduling for select courses in order to improve efficiency, student satisfaction and community building on campus. In addition a new Assessment sequence was developed and implemented as a three-semester sequence that students can fulfill in the Fall, Spring and Summer of G1 year. 3 As Co-Chair of SERC, I provided leadership for this committee dedicated to identifying and remediating students who had academic or professional difficulties. I interviewed students, created remediation plans and made recommendations for dismissal from the program. I had the lead responsibility for developing agendas for meetings and documenting minutes with action items. Member Student Evaluation and Review Committee ( as Assistant Professor): As a committee member of SERC, I served this committee within my role as OPT Director to address student problems with practica and internship training. I assisted in interviewing students and creating remediation plans. Member Faculty Committee on Evaluating Student Competencies : As a committee member of FCESC, I provided oversight on the Preliminary Exams and served as the expert member on the Ethics and Laws Preliminary Exam. I proctored ethics exams, contributed to exam creation, developed exam items and consulted with students who failed the exam. I also helped to develop remediation plans for students who failed the ethics exam 2 or more times. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - California Psychology Internship Council (CAPIC), Berkeley, CA. 6/2007 9/2008 Within my role as Executive Director of CAPIC, I provided leadership and oversight for the organization. I worked closely with CSPP-SF, other doctoral programs, the California Board of Psychology, and internship Training Directors to expand internship options and ensure quality of internship training for psychology doctoral students. I also served as liaison to the Association for Psychology and Postdoctoral Internship Centers (APPIC) to facilitate collaboration to address the national internship match imbalance. DIRECTOR OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING - California School of Professional Psychology, San Francisco CA Responsible for the professional training program for CSPP-San Francisco Bay Area doctoral degrees in clinical psychology. Major duties include planning, developing and overseeing all aspects of the OPT program and ensuring that the policies and procedures pertaining to practicum and internship experience, including the attendant course work and the Clinical Proficiency Progress Review (CPPR), are administered. GRANT WRITING CAPIC Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Prop 63 Grant: As Executive Director of CAPIC I was one of the main authors, along with Drs. Melodie Schaefer and Linda Garcia-Shelton, on the MHSA, Prop 63 Grant which resulted in an award to CAPIC for $2.6 million over 5 years. Funds were used to develop the CAPIC program to distribute stipends of $20,772 for student recipients working in public health settings form CAPIC member schools. Currently, several CSPP-SF students have been awarded stipends from this ongoing program. DOCTORAL DISSERTATION - California School of Professional Psychology, Alameda, CA Researched the integration of Sandplay therapy and Object Relations theory; theoretical integration of both topics and empirical investigation of clinicians' interpretations of sandtray photographs HONORS THESIS Learned Helplessness in Depressed Mothers University of Maryland Conducted research project at the Laboratory of Developmental Psychology NIMH investigating the ways in which depressed and control mothers teach their children cognitive tasks.
