Interventions included behavioral techniques to increase compliance with medical protocols, cognitive strategies for coping with anxiety and depression, parent guidance and assistance in coping with their child s illness, and consultation to a child s medical team. Neuropsychological Assessment: Administered 6-hour batteries of neuropsychological and intellectual functioning measures to children and adolescents with histories of brain tumors. Analyzed and interpreted test data from a neurobehavioral systems framework and wrote comprehensive reports. Medical Coping Clinic: Provided outpatient treatment for children with new and ongoing medical stressors. Interventions included behavioral

3 Page 3 of 8 strategies to manage anxiety related to medical procedures, parent involvement with modeling appropriate coping strategies, and biofeedback for pain management and/or anxiety. Richmond Inpatient Psychiatric Unit: Provided inpatient psychiatric care to children admitted due to disordered eating or suicidal ideation/attempts. Worked as part of a multi-disciplinary team to stabilize the patient, provided daily therapy, and conducted parent meetings Psychology Trainee, Fourth Year Therapy Placement Department of Psychiatry, University Hospitals, Cleveland, OH Supervisor: Norah Feeny, Ph.D. Provided outpatient therapy for children and adolescents referred to the psychiatry department. Delivered a manualized treatment program to children and adults diagnosed with either bipolar disorder or PTSD. Additional responsibilities included 3-hour intake assessments evaluating adults using standardized diagnostic interviews and questionnaires to determine their eligibility for the PTSD treatment study. The assessment included the WISC-IV, Woodcock Johnson-III, and a battery of mental health assessments (e.g., Trauma Symptom Checklist). This
