11 Special Program CEO XChange An executive roundtable program serving progressive chief executives and business owners in Central Florida. Designed specifically for second-stage companies, CEO XChange offers a confidential setting for top executives to discuss vital business issues, opportunities and trends with a group of peers. Many times I ve been able to share challenges faced by my companies with the CEO XChange, and I ve always received real world peer feedback from members that has revealed the solutions needed for my companies to grow so quickly.

12 Special Program Government Contracting A specialized service funded by the Department of Defense. This service was established in 1985 to assist Florida businesses with government procurement support services including assistance with marketing, proposal preparation and contract administration. This program really opened our eyes to the way that government agencies and prime contractors work, what a contracting officer does and how to use the web as a tool to find resources and contacts. 15 Special Program Small Business Institute A program connecting local small businesses to the resources and management expertise of UCF s College of Business Administration and the SBDC at UCF. SBI provides confidential and professional management assistance to small businesses through consulting projects performed by MBA students. The report and recommendations that the MBA students produced is a very useful tool for our business. We are using the report to implement new strategies in guiding our company growth. We have been thinking about many of the items analyzed for years, but have not had the time to run the business and develop an action plan.
