10 [ Mobile Content User Base for Mobile Reports For the Japan ipad Sales Project alone, we will have around 2000 users. Globally, through other ipad mobility initiatives, this could grow to a very large user base. Mobile BI Environment For Japan ipad Sales, couple of hundred Web Intelligence and Crystal Reports by end of Users will also use BO Explorer as needed depending on business requirements. Content Authoring Web Intelligence reports are created by business users trained in BusinessObjects. Crystal reports developed by IT. BO Explorer InfoSpaces defined by Business Users in partnership with IT Reports Distribution Published as well as Scheduled using BusinessObjects 10

11 [ Feedback from your users Mobile BI Users Love it! Simple, light weight model easy to understand and end users can publish to ipad without IT support. Readily adopted. ipad app is rapidly improving with added features, improved usability, automatic layout management, security etc., Explorer Mobile Users Love it! Users excited by the new way of visualizing and analyzing data. Easy to understand and reduces the number of pre-defined/adhoc reports in analyzing business scenarios. Automatic charting and exporting data in various formats are users favorites with this mobile solution. 11

12 [ Issues and Challenges with the product Current Product Limitations and Challenges (As of May 2012?) Due to limitations on the types of WebI Reports on ipad, users will need to keep two sets of reports one for PC and one for ipad Limited Charts and Table Types for ipad reports. Remove these limitations. At least, provide charts that are in Explorer product. Once Rendered on ipad, users would like to interact, change visualizations (type of visualization and, store and share with other users (via BO Platform for security). Provide predefined components/templates on ipad for end user to visualize (similar to Dashboard design product) Users would like to have a binder/magazine capability on ipad to compile MoBI and Non-MoBI reports in a business binder to tell their story. 12

13 [ Issues and Challenges with the product Current Product Limitations and Challenges (As of May 2012) Users may benefit from an ipad version of BI Launch Pad to organize their content. Users need to understand special codes to format reports and charts. Remove coding (like ;SC) and integrate with formula editor to define and drop objects for table/data formatting (Example: Scorecard function) Minimize size/number of cell limitations; Allow color and layout management by end users. Keep up with dynamic ipad market for more frequent updates to the app (twice quarterly, for example) 13
