Responsibilities also include writing grants and overseeing the fulfillment of all Grant reporting requirements. Instructed and supervised law students pursuant to a collaboration, the first of this kind, between the University of Miami, School of Law and Florida International University, College of Law. The course covered various issues, including advocacy, legal rights and entitlements pursuant to federal and state law with a focus on education and school discipline, with the goal of eradicating the School-to-Prison Pipeline.
