I worked closely with members of the community, law enforcement, and other attorneys in collaboration to focus on gang activity and targeted high-crime areas of the city. Duties included making charging decisions, handling bondreduction hearings, trial practice, file preparation and organization, victim contact, handling probation revocation hearings, investigation, negotiation, research, training new attorneys, working closely with paralegals and other legal staff, management of caseload of more than 120 cases and upholding the law. Grand Jury management included all aspects of staff management and administrative tasks. Worked closely with citizens to educate them on the law and to encourage their fair and unbiased treatment of cases. TEACHING EXPERIENCE Present Adjunct Faculty Introduction to Women s Studies Saint Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri Teaching to undergraduates designed to provide students with well-rounded yet critical insight into all aspects of gender, gender issues and the history and theories of gender and feminism using in-class activities, lectures, group discussions, exams, papers and other projects to facilitate learning and development. Developing the course, creating exams, applying creative approaches to the current application of the principles associated with the class materials and interpersonal communication with students are all musts. Giving students a foundation for understanding privilege, critical race theory, LGBT topics and women s studies.

Encouraged critical examination of the criminal justice system and processes using creative approaches designed to maintain student interest. Class is taught to masters level students enrolled in the Options Program that caters to non-traditional students who participate in night classes with a rolling six-week schedule. Reviewed and selected all course materials, framed course around self-selected goals of fostering a thorough, interdisciplinary approach to understanding the law, its application, and its powerful ability to influence people and communities in a multitude of ways.
