3 Overview Centre for Incubation and Business Acceleration (CIBA) is a technology business incubator established with support from Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and Department of Science, Technology and Environment, Government of Goa to support technology based innovative startup companies. CIBA is a section 25 company and is dedicated towards entrepreneurship development.

4 Location CIBA is housed in the Agnel Technical Education Complex at Verna Goa. The campus employs more than 250 teaching staff having expertise in engineering and food technology.

7 Milestones CIBA organizes various programmes for supporting innovation like bootcamps, barcamps, I The Entrepreneur, Emerging trends in food processing. CIBA through its Agnel Entrepreneurship Development Institute has supported more than 3500 micro enterprises to be established in Goa over a period of the last thirteen years. Our incubatee companies have won 5 international awards in the last one year.

8 Some Of Our Current Initiatives KAUN BANEGA UDYOGPATI CIBA in association with Verna Industries Association is organizing Kaun Banega Udyogpati an innovative business idea competition for the students of colleges and higher secondary schools in Goa. RAJIV GANDHI UDHYAMI MITRA YOJANA The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India has appointed Agnel Entrepreneurship Development Institute as the Rajiv Gandhi Udhyami Mitra to handhold and support enterprises in Goa. I THE ENTREPRENEUR An innovative interaction between successful entrepreneurs and prospective young entrepreneurs to understand the pain and gain of entrepreneurship in the mode of an interview followed by mentoring.

12 ARMADA INCUBATEES Goa born Oscar de Sequeira Nazareth was educated in Portugal and United Kingdom. He obtained professional qualification in the areas of securities trading, finance, insurance and investments. After working in the UK for a few years, Oscar returned to his roots to start Armada. Through the brand Armada, Oscar aims to commercialise an old Portuguese family recipe for spice liqueur. Founded by IITians from IIT Kanpur in Dec 2009, Transerve Technologies is privileged to work with several esteemed public and private sector customers since its inception providing quality data and geospatial products (web, desktop and mobile based). Transerve Technologies is also developing an ingenious engineering survey solution based on GPS technology and a weather product using the same platform.
