6 Char cm 22 Italian Nase cm 35 Grayling cm 35 Tench cm 25 Trout cm 30 QUOTAS LIMITS Every fisherman in every single day of fishing cannot capture more than: 6 salmonidae fishes (trout, char, whitefish) 2 pikes 2 large mouth basses 20 perches Moreover, every fisherman cannot catch in one day more than 5 kg of fish, including the species listed above SPECIAL LIMITATIONS REGARDING BLEAK FISHING Bleak fishing is only allowed for the supply of fish used as bait, for a maximum amount of 20 units per day per person. The fish must be kept alive in suitable containers.. PROTECTED FISHING AREAS In controlled areas fishing is only allowed from the shore and with one rod only. LAKE PUSIANO In Lake Pusiano you can fish with three rods, each one with five natural or artificial baits Fishing at night is permitted from the shore only, lying the bait on the bottom. All fishermen with a fishing license can fish from the shore without any additional permit To fish from a boat it is necessary to buy a fishing permit at the Stationery Shop Cartolibreria dello Studente, via Caleotto 14 / B, Lecco (tel /363659) Carp fishers can use the boat for the laying of baits only at night time (one hour after sunset to one hour before sunrise). One hour before dawn baits laid from the boat must be retrieved and can be lowered again only for from the shore with a fishing rod Minimum size limits, no fishing periods and quotas limits are equal to those in force on Lake Como, with the following exceptions:

The permits cost 5,00 (daily) to 50,00 (yearly) euros. Permits can be bought in Montorfano at the public beach Lido, the Bar Roma, the ice cream parlour Madonnina and the newsagent s in via Cantù. Permits are valid only for fishing from the shore. Boat fishing is permitted only to a restricted number of members. LAKE SEGRINO The farm Gorla managed by Enrico Massironi owns an exclusive fishing right for lake Segrino. To fish here you need the license type D and the permission granted by the manager. Only children under 13 do not need any permission. Permits can be bought at the newsstand Cupidi in via Mazzini in Canzo and cost 10 (daily), Euro (annual for residents in Longone al Segrino, Canzo and Eupilio), Euro (annual for residents in other towns). Permits are valid only for fishing from the shore. Fishing from the boat is permitted only to a small number of members. 10 Trout from 26 September to 20 December RIVERS Fishing in the rivers is allowed from a hour before sunrise on the last Sunday of February until one hour after sunset on the first Sunday of October only on Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Saturday, April 25th, May 1st, June 2nd and August 15th. Fishing is allowed only during daytime and exclusively with fishing rods. Every fisher can use one rod only, armed with max three natural and artificial baits. It is required to use barbless hooks, or hooks with the barbs pinched down.
