Quote Request The first step is to gather all details and specifications from you in order to determine the scope of the project. Project Evaluation At this stage we can give you our recommendations as well as a ballpark on the budget. Formal Proposal & Agreement If you are interested in moving forward with us, we generally put together a formal proposal for you to review. This generally contains external components that we are going to use for the website and list of functionality which require custom coding. We give you a hard quote based on the amount of hours that we assume the project will consume on the whole. Unlike some design firms, we stick by our quotes even if we go over the hours allotted, unless something new or unexpected turns up during the project which was not covered in the original agreement. We are completely transparent in our procedures and always make sure you know what exactly you are paying for. No one likes ambiguities especially regarding costs. Initial Deposit Once you have decided to carry on, we generally require a 50% deposit of the project total to get the work started. Work generally commences on the standard web design projects within 2-3 days depending on our work load and how quickly you are able to provide us with the required materials. Design Phase Then our professional web designer will design the graphics and create a prototype for your new website by keeping in mind your industry, preferences and target audience. Our standard agreement generally includes one design concept at a time and more if needed, with multiple revisions before finalizing. Development Phase Once the design concept is selected and approved, we will start on the development and production of the site. We code our web sites using standard-based XHTML/CSS as it is highly cross-browser compatible, fast loading and search-engine-friendly. Programming Phase 95% of all websites we build are dynamic in some way and require using open source CMS (in our case it s JOOMLA) or custom web programming to give them the required functionality. After your approval of the static XHTML/CSS site layout, we will begin on the programming phase of the project. This phase includes converting the site from static HTML/CSS, to a dynamic, database-driven website using JOOMLA CMS. We will also configure, implement and customize any third-party or open-source JOOMLA component that has agreed upon. Final Review and Testing When all of the dynamic web programming has been completed, we will review and test the website along with you. Any final touches required will be made at this stage before preparing for the launch of the site. Launch!
