2 Project Description: Minnesota Power is developing, in partnership with the Minnesota Army National Guard, a 10-megawatt utility scale solar project at Camp Ripley near Little Falls, MN (the Project ). This solar system will provide energy to Minnesota Power s customers and provide additional resiliency to Minnesota s largest military installation through innovative microgrid compatibility being incorporated into the requirements. Prequalification Introduction Minnesota Power is pleased to invite you to submit information through this Prequalification Questionnaire. Minnesota Power s intent in this prequalification process is to identify a limited number of qualified contractors that Minnesota Power may invite to participate in a Request for Proposal for the Project (the RFP ). If you would like to be considered for the RFP, you must have an authorized representative of your company complete and submit this Prequalification Questionnaire as required below. By submitting a completed Prequalification questionnaire, your authorized representative is representing to Minnesota Power that all of the information contained therein is true and complete as of the time of the submission. If Minnesota Power identifies your company as a company that may be invited to the RFP, you will be notified by Minnesota Power. Please note that Minnesota Power is undertaking this prequalification process based on Minnesota Power s current plans and schedule for the Project, all of which are subject to change. By inviting you to participate in this prequalification process, Minnesota Power is not committing itself to any specific course of action or undertaking. This prequalification process may be suspended or terminated by Minnesota Power at any time in its sole discretion.
