4 Program Structure Texas Pharmacy Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. The PTTP has been assigned APCE # H04-T and is accredited for 240 contact hours. 8 The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Exam The exam: Assisting the Pharmacist in Serving Patients (66% of exam) Maintaining Medication & Inventory Control Systems (22% of exam) Participating in the Administration & Management of Pharmacy Practice (12% of exam) Contains 90 multiple choice questions to be answered in 110 minutes. Ten of the 90 do not count toward final score. Cost is $129 Over 220 Pearson VUE test centers Apply online and schedule 48 hours to 90 days out
