It s been sweeping the internet marketing community because it reveals the most overlooked but most important ASSET and SYSTEM when it comes to earning online. How to Use This Guide I created this complimentary guide to help the Filipinos understand some of the terms and concepts used in Anik s book. This was made for those who are not that tech savvy, and the 100% total beginners. Basically, what I did was to read through the book and if I see a part that some people might not yet understand or appreciate, then I ll write a quick commentary about it. Since this is only complimentary to Anik Singal s My $10 Million Online Discovery book, it is best that you read that one first and THEN proceed to read this cheat sheet. Then to make things much simpler, I ve formatted the book in a question and answer format so you can understand it better. --With that said, let s get started!--

3 Section 1: Introductions Wait, before we start! Who is Anik Singal? The short answer is that he s an international online marketer and entrepreneur. Just how big of a name is he? Well, if we use the context of Philippine politics, then he would be one of the leading senators, and maybe even the Vice-President. (I can t really say who the president of Internet Marketing is, because many of them are extremely good! ) So how did you first learn of Anik? I was a student and customer of his in one of his previous courses. In choosing which people to learn from, I AM ALWAYS skeptical (I m sure you do the same thing!). And honestly, the first time I learned of his course, I was feeling kind of iffy was it just a scam? I proceeded anyway because he offered a 30-day money back guarantee so if ever the course didn t do what it promised, I could always get my money back. Good thing I was proven wrong because I ended up loving his course. He s the REAL thing. There s no hype, and no fluff. His methods have been tried and tested and a real person with integrity (very rare in the online space). Since then, I ve been a willing student and follower. Section 2: What is Affiliate Marketing? Anik mentions Affiliate marketing in page 10 of his book. (Again if you haven t downloaded his book yet, please download it by clicking here.) Affiliate marketing is making money through selling other people s products and services and receiving a commission for it. Think of an agent receiving a

4 commission, but the huge difference this time is that it is done online and done automatically. How do you exactly earn money as an affiliate? As an affiliate of a product or service, you will be given a unique link that is associated to your account. And when somebody clicks your unique link and then buys the product or service, the sale and commission will be automatically credited to your account. How do you become an affiliate? Most products and services online already have affiliate programs that can be seen in each product s homepage. For now though you don t need to worry about it because signing up is always free and as easy as creating a Facebook profile. What kinds of products can you promote as an affiliate? There is an abundant number and types of products you can promote as an affiliate. And typically for every hobby and interest there is an equivalent product for that. The most common ones are in the online business, personal and financial development, and health and wellness. But there are also affiliate programs for dating (and sex) advice, car accessories, dental services, karaoke, MMORPG s, Anything else I should know about affiliate marketing? There are two things you need to know: (1) Affiliate marketing one of the easiest and fastest way to earn your first income online because you don t need to have a product of your own. Marketing is what you re going to learn about in the next training materials from Anik. But it simply means reaching your customers through . (Think how you got to download this cheat sheet, think about how I m communicating

5 with you! You might have seen me on facebook, or on youtube, but our relationship grows through .) Online Marketing - Trivia Time! One of the well-known Filipino companies using this marketing strategy is Hizon s Catering. (If you have planned a wedding before, you have definitely heard of them). At Hizon s website, they offer a free guide/book on planning your wedding in exchange for your address. Once they have your address, they will continue to give you invitations for their food tasting and other events. What about facebook, twitter and other social media marketing? The great thing about is that it is a DIRECT relationship to your customer, and you are guaranteed that almost all of your consumers would have their addresses. Facebook, Twitter and other social media on the other hand are very visible marketing methods but not that stable. They are very tempting to the newbie internet marketer because it is seen everywhere. However, they often don t realize that they are building their business on someone else s business. If all of a sudden something better than Facebook, or Twitter, comes around, then you would have to rebuild it again that new platform. Facebook story time! Since 2012 onwards, Facebook has been playing around with how the news feed works as a consumer it s not that much of a big deal. But to marketers who depend on their Facebook pages, it was a devastating hit. For instance, page with 10,000 likes should supposedly be able to reach out to 3,500 people when they post. However after Facebook s changes, each post would only reach 100 people (unless you paid Facebook to boost your What does he mean by GUARANTEED and FTC? Anik qualifies the term Guarantee and mentions the FTC in page 22. (Again if you haven t downloaded his book yet, please download it by clicking here.)

6 In the US, the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) prohibits all kinds of training businesses to guarantee a certain level of success. Because if someone were to guarantee a particular level of income, and one of their students don t get that kind of income, then they can get sued. That s why Anik is specifically defining the Guarantee. (If a trainer were to guarantee anything, that would be a sign that he s a scam!) If online marketing becomes popular in the Philippines as well, and the government took notice, then it would be the DTI (Department of Trade and Industry) that would prohibit these kinds of profit guarantees. He used the word opt-in. What does that mean? To opt-in simply means to sign up. So when people opt-in to your business, two things happen: (1) you got their address and (2) they have allowed you to communicate with them through . Opt-ins are a critical building blocks to any online business. Think of a telephone marketer (person who sells stuff through the phone) what does a tele-marketer need to get sales? Telephone numbers right? Well, you will be an online marketer, and the stuff you need would be s. Section 4: What is Traffic? Anik states that traffic is the first ingredient in the online business is TRAFFIC. See page 25. We use traffic to describe our streets! Grabe ang traffic sa EDSA/C5!!!... Just kidding. In online marketing, traffic is the number of people going to your website on a daily, weekly or even monthly basis. It is the RAW material in your business. If we were talking about a retail store, we would be measuring FOOT traffic. That refers to the number of people who are walking-by your store.

7 Anything else I should know about traffic? For now, nothing yet. Just remember what Anik told you... He ll show you ways on how to build traffic that is: FREE no need to buy expensive advertisements Achievable in 3 hours easy to get fast results! Scalable grows over time High quality higher percentage to buy the best kind of traffic out there! At the end of the paragraph, he said I ll get subscribers What are subscribers? Okay, a subscriber is a person who has opted-in your list. Take note that this is different from traffic. Traffic comprises of the people who simply visit your website. While subscribers are people who have opted in to receive more of the stuff you have to offer. So a subscriber is sort of a customer? No. A subscriber is a person who just opted-in your list. That doesn t mean that he already bought something. Only when a subscriber buys, that he becomes a customer. Think a retail store All the people who walk by the in area is called TRAFFIC. The people who WALK-IN the store are your subscribers. And the People who BUY are your customers.

8 Section 5: So I ll have to build a website? The #2 ingredient in the Inbox Blueprint is a 1-Page Website. See page 27. Yes, you will be making a website. Since your website is going to be your store. Take note though that it s just a ONE PAGE website! And that kind of website can be set-up in an hour or less! (This is part of what you ll learn in Anik s Inbox Blueprint.) What is blogging? Blogging is an activity where you write articles about a particular topic. It could be about food, travel, music, painting, business, investing, oh heck it could be anything under the sun. In the Philippines, blogging is seen to be a way to share your personal hobbies, and make a little money on the side. Here are some examples of known Filipino bloggers: 1. by Anton Diaz This is the number 1 Food reference blog! 2. is a news blog about the latest technology and gadgets by Jo-Anne is a blog about her experiences as a Party Concierge. (More can be added to this list, but by checking them out you ll already get an idea of what a blog is.) So if people are successful in blogging, why is Anik saying it s complicated? Well, earning from blogging is complicated because it is SLOW. You would typically have to write one article per week, for 6 months before you could earn any significant amount. If you want to see fast results, then blogging should just be a part of a bigger strategy involving marketing.

9 How about e-commerce sites? E-commerce sites is a website where you will be selling your own physical products. It s one of the most complicated types of sites to set-up since aside from managing the physical products, you ll need to have software to manage your customers, inventory, accounting, logistics tracking and so many more. This path is honestly NOT recommended, unless you already have an established retail store.

10 Okay next! What are information products? An information product is a product that contains training material specific to a particular topic. An info-product could be audio seminar, online training videos, podcasts, e-books, reports, etc. In the Philippines, one of the most famous information products sold is Bo Sanchez Truly Rich Club. Basically you sign-up to the club to get audio recordings of his seminars, and updates about what to buy and sell in the stock market. Generally information products are avoided because it can cost a LOT of time to create. Typically an information product would take 2-3 months worth of development. And once you launch it, it s a huge risk if customers would actually be willing to buy it! Got it! Now last, why is traffic expensive? Online traffic can be expensive if you don t know how to utilize good advertising. For instance, in Facebook you could pay them to show your ads to more people and this will lead to traffic. However, if you don t know how to write effective ads that customers would be willing to click, then you just wasted money. Generally it is good to buy traffic once you already have set-up your system. You ve ensured that each step of the sale has already been tested and proven to be effective. Otherwise, advertising is going to be a cash-drain. So forget blogging, e-commerce, info-products and ads what should I remember then? For now, just know that you will be building a simple one-page website. All these other things would just be distractions to your first income online. Anik shares the T.Y.P method and gives sample incomes and new subscribers See page 30.

11 I d like to believe that it s definitely possible! It s not the kind of income, you ll get right away since the numbers you re seeing here are a result ALL things done right, every step of the way. I think that s the kind of result you should expect and look for in an online marketing teacher! So you re just being optimistic eh? Haha! I can t give you any personal proof yet, because I haven t seen that kind of income YET. Just to share with you my results though.. When I was just starting out, I was just getting about 5-10 subscribers per day. (Sometimes there were days when I didn t get any! this was the time when I was doing things Trial and Error style!) Then I would learn something and try something new, and all of a sudden I would get 20 subscribers per day! (One change can mean a BIG difference in this business). Today, having adjusted several pieces already I get about 30 to 50 subscribers a day. I hope this gives you an idea that increasing subscribers and consequently your income is going to be proportional to the amount of things you can do RIGHT. This is why I continue to learn from people like Anik, who have already done the trial and error for me. So I don t have to commit the same mistakes they did in the past. Section 7: Ummm so what are auto-responders? Anik starts to mention databases and auto-responders See page 33.

12 Okay, recall the opt-in part for a while. Remember that the first part in the process is getting the person s address when they go to your 1-page website? Well, the software that allows you to do that is called an AUTORESPONDER. Now, aside from allowing you to get and store s auto responders can also be used to deliver sequenced s to your subscribers. So you could set your autoresponder to send #1 on their first day, then #2 on their 5 th day, then #3 on the 10 th day and so on! Eh Can t I do the same thing with my regular account? Why do I need that auto-responder thing? Well, you CAN do it in your account, but imagine having to do that for ALL your subscribers every time you want to send a message out? It might be easy for your first 10 subscribers, but once you reach 100, 1,000 and onwards it becomes impossible. An auto-responder makes your life simple by automating the clerical task of sending a set of s at pre-determined times. Hmm so wouldn t my messages seem robotic? Not really, since that would depend on how you write your s. (This is part of the Inbox Blueprint Training). Also, you have a nice feature wherein you can add the persons name within the . So you can program it to say Hello <insert first name here> And the auto-responder will automatically use the first name of your subscriber! So it s a pretty neat feature that gives our customers a personalized feel. And heck, it really makes our lives easier! Section 9: He s talking about printing money! Anik gives an example of 10,000 subscribers and printing money through manual messaging. See page 37.

13 This time, I can attest to this reality because I have just experienced this recently. Let me share with you my experience with it! You see, right now, I already have 11,000+ subscribers in my lists. This is from my websites and Now, last March 2014, I saw a product about the Law of Attraction and I was really impressed by it. So I signed up to be an affiliate of the product, and got my unique affiliate link. Now, I sent an to my 11,000+ subscribers, just telling them about the product. Even though it wasn t directly about the stock market, I thought that the program would still help my subscribers achieve their financial goals. So I didn t hesitate to share it with them. Of that 11,000 sent out s, a few people looked at the program and bought it. And since I used my affiliate link, I would be getting a commission from those sales. From simply writing 3 s, I got to earn an extra P25,484 that month! (Of course I still have a lot to learn on how to do this better, but hey it s a start!) Hmmmm so if you didn t have that 11,000 subscribers, you wouldn t have earned that amount of money? Am I right? I m right, right? Yes, exactly. If I wrote the same , but I only had 10 subscribers, then there s a chance I wouldn t have made any money! That s why the biggest asset in marketing is the list. This is what you will learn to grow, and nurture in the Inbox Blueprint (and possibly in the coming training videos!) Section 9: Okay, I see the proof. But nothing is guaranteed right? In the final chapter, Anik says he can t guarantee your millions overnight. See page 44.

14 Definitely nothing can ever be guaranteed. Anik will be teaching his SYSTEM, but it would still be our role to execute, and build it. From my experience, it took me more than a year to actually get started in online marketing (because I was just depending on a lot of the free trainings, and getting into these useless and hyped up activities! I was also scared of the technology-obstacle wherein I didn t know what software did and what exact buttons to press) It took me another 3 months before I could make my first income online. And this was just about P3,530 at that time. That may seem small to you, but to me it meant a LOT because it means I already got a part of the SYSTEM right. Looking back during those times, I realize that I was working hard. However, I made so little because I was working hard in the building the WRONG system, hence my results were slow. So I guess the real promise here is that you will get to learn a system that has been proven to work by Anik and his first set of students. Whether you will be willing to put in the effort to do the work, is entirely up to you! Section 10: Okay, I got it now! So what do I do next? Well, keep on learning!
