10 S6000 Designed for the future S6000 The S6000E radio microphone system has been specifically designed and engineered for professional users, who demand high levels of flexibility. When it comes to frequency flexibility, the S6000E simply cuts to the chase. It s a new generation of radio mic designed for all your visual and audio needs. S6000E Receiver Proposed new regulations and digital television will require radio mics to be as frequency flexible as possible. The S6000E meets those needs, and more, allowing frequency planning over a huge 72MHz window. The new enhanced S6000E designed for the future in an over-regulated world. The S6001E and S6002E receivers lend the option of either a single 1/2 width or a dual full width 19 1U rack box. In common with the S6000E rack based system, these receivers boast an unprecedented RF tuning range of 72MHz. S6001E Receiver S6002E Receiver The rack mounted S6000E comprises 8 UHF receivers, antenna distribution, headphone monitor, power supply and USB interface. Industry proven technology Advanced PC monitoring options Wide RF operating window Dual redundancy power blocks Wide selection of accessories including narrow & wide band high IP3 head amplifiers, customised multi-antenna combiners and filter units as used on many live, popular television productions. The S6001E and S6002E can be fully remote monitored and controlled via the USB port using the same PC monitoring software as the S6000E allowing the user to mix and match up to 40 receivers of different types and frequency ranges on the same PC screen. These receivers can then be monitored locally or anywhere on an Ethernet based network. Also on the front panel there is an Infra-Red (IrDA) port, which allows the receiver to download frequencies to the S6000 transmitter. The RF inputs for up to 3 x S6001E receivers or 3 x S6002E receivers (6 channels) may be daisy chained from a single pair of diversity antennae. The unit s front panel display allows access to all the standard functions. These include frequency, user name, mute level, RF level A and B (diversity), deviation, Vu and last but not least constant battery monitoring. The receivers are able to display all this information through the latest generation Vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) giving excellent clarity in all environments. S6000E software screen examples Allowing up to 8 receivers to be mounted inside a 2U 19 chassis, the system will function perfectly with fewer receivers, but the optimum is 8. Each mainframe rack has an internal antenna distribution system allowing multiples of up to 5 racks (40 receivers) to be connected and run from one antenna system. Up to 5 racks can be controlled and monitored on a single screen of a local PC using USB, giving local control. The local PC can then be connected via Ethernet to give control from anywhere on the network from up to 3 remote points. The system can be controlled by allowing the user to remotely alter frequencies, user names and mute levels; it can monitor RF levels (A&B), Audio Level & Transmitter battery levels.
