Leaving Carleton after 19 years, Dr. Clark is filled with no nostalgia. World citizen, former newspaperwoman, and globe trotter, she has had too broad an experience to think that Carleton is the only beauty spot on earth. The only feminine Who s Who-er at Carleton, Dr. Clark has a long series of accomplishments to her credit, among them, editorial and special writer for the St. Paul Dispatch-Pioneer Press, visiting professor at Kobe College, Nishinomiya, Japan; lecturer in Japanese cities; member of innumerable national associations; author of The Spell of Spain, The Spell of Scotland, and International Communications, and a member of the executive council of the American Political Science Association. But she s setting out to seek her fortune like Dick Whittington and his cat. (by Jane Zimmerman)
