6 What is CPOE Connect? o CPOE Connect is a component of Lifepoint's web portal that allows an EHR vendor the ability to place orders via a secure connection. o Users of our EHR partner s in most case do not realize that they are ordering within Lifepoint as it is a seamless integration. o Lifepoint CPOE Connect requires no retooling or modification to the EHR software and can greatly reduce existing CPOE development costs.

Cost!!!! - Most of our Labhub participants have waived their fees entirely (Lifepoint fee still applies) - Reduced rate for other Vendors Streamlined implementation process - Several vendors are ASP (web based), this means that we have a single VPN connection with this vendor and can rapidly deploy interfaces across many laboratories. Clean Orders & Integration - Since CPOE connect is an extension of our web portal, it allows Lifepoint the ability to control the ordering process. - With each Lab connection Lifepoint strives to address the complex needs of each Labs electronic workflow, ensuring that an each order is process cleanly and efficient, containing pertinent and complete patient information. - Lifepoint also works with each laboratory to ensure that patient registration is accomplished in order to reduce duplication of patient creation and compliance.
