These individuals include teachers, principals, administrators, administrators of other Title I programs and other school staff. Particular emphasis shall be placed on reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. Select the choices that apply for your campus. (Title I component #3-HQ), Provide professional development for campus staff in assisting all students to meet the state s challenging content and student performance standards. (Title I component#4- PD), Ensure smooth transition for students from early childhood programs and from elementary to middle school and middle to high school. (Title I component #7-T), Strategies for utilizing teachers regarding the use of academic assessments for providing information and improving the achievement of individual students are employed. All campuses who failed to meet a safeguard based on their 2014 testing data must describe strategies to address the safeguard. (Review by police, fire drills, lock downs, etc.)., Students receive public acknowledgement for non-academic achievement., Discipline records are used to plan programs that address disciplinary needs, (violence prevention, mediation, conflict resolution)., Students participate in activities that foster positive Teacher/Student relationships., The Student Code of Conduct is available on-line and copies are made available in the office for each student and reviewed with students by teachers., Students demonstrate skills of cooperation and conflict resolutions., Orientation is held from elementary to middle school and middle school to high school. Goal #5 - Diverse students shall be prepared to meet the demands of the real world when they exit Lewisville Independent School District. (Special ed., LEAP, ELL), ESL students are served on our campus, Special Education students are served on our campus, Title 1 students are served on our campus, LEAP students are served on our campus, A plan is in place to accurately identify students for special programs. Campus Goal #1 Describe a goal specific to your campus in the box below. LISD Strategic Design Goal 2.2 Objectives Describe the objectives for Goal 1. The staff of FME will provide relevant experiences in all core subject areas, which includes technology based, kinesthetic, hands on, project based learning and other engagement tools to continue to allow students to advance in achievement. This will be measured by STAAR and DRA scores. Action Plan Describe the actions/activities your school will take to achieve the objectives related to the goal. 1.Provide staff with Appy Hours provided once a month within Wednesday staff meetings in order to share new technology with staff. 2.Teachers will introduce a grade appropriate production app each 9 weeks, such as, PicCollage, Sock Puppets, Poppet, Edmodo, Screen Chomps, etc. with students given the opportunity to submit and/ share their creations electronically with teachers, peers and community including e-portfolio. 3. FME staff will require each student to participate in one project based learning each semester. The student will be required to show his/her knowledge in one core subject area. Flower Mound Elementary will make a direct connection with a business, a community organization, a local government entity, and a higher education institution as a collaborative partnership to enhance our 21st century learners. Actions/Activities Describe the actions/activities your school will take to achieve the objectives related to the goal. 1. Business Partnerships- Faculty members will establish personal contact with interested local business members to help share applicable knowledge. 2. Community Partnerships- Faculty will continue to build on established relationships with community partnerships to increase community involvement. 3. Call Blast delivered by Principal for pertinent information, as appropriate 4. Remind 101 will be utilized by Principal and teachers (if desired) to share pertinent information. 5. School marquee will be updated as needed. 6. Staff members will share programs and products with the LISD communication dept. on a monthly basis. 7. BLT will meet 3 times per year to design, agree upon, and review critical issues and suggestions.
