1 Getting Started with GM SupplyPower All Users Quick Reference Guide This Quick Reference Guide provides you the steps required to get started using GM SupplyPower Portal. This includes the steps to the following tasks: 1. Begin Using GM SupplyPower Portal - Register as a new user to obtain a login User ID and Password. 2. Find Additional Help Resources - Identifying Your Administrators (Administrators are your first line of support for the remaining tasks). 3. Gain Access to Applications within Portal - Request access to applications within GM SupplyPower. 4. Identify Additional Information - Viewing Your GMID and GMIN when required during application requests. There are additional tasks beyond those listed above for the users of the portal. 2 Getting Started with GM SupplyPower All Users Quick Reference Guide Task 1: How to Register as a New User a. invitation received (If you need to register and did not receive an invitation, skip this step and refer to task 1b) 1. Click the URL in the invitation you received, requesting that you register. The Enter User Information screen is displayed. 2. Key in all user information as required, then click continue registration. The User Login Information screen is displayed. User Login Information Screen 3. Key in the following fields: FIELD User ID Password Re-enter Password Challenge Question Challenge Answer DESCRIPTION Create the user identification you wish to use each time you log in to Covisint. (The User ID must be at least 4 characters, and no more than 20 characters. If your company uses a standard convention for issuing User IDs for internal applications, you may wish to adhere to the same convention and select the same id for simplicity.) Create the password you wish to use each time you log in to Covisint. (This must follow the password rules, as described on the screen) Re-enter the password you created in the previous field. (This is done to confirm that you keyed in the password as you had intended). A Challenge Question is used as a security measure if you ever forget your password and need to reset it. You will be asked to answer this challenge question. The answer must match that which you will key into the field below, Challenge Answer. The Select Service Package screen is displayed. 5. Enable the checkbox next to GM Supply Power to request access to the portal package, then click continue. 6. Enable the checkbox of each additional GM Supply Power service package you wish to request, then click continue registration. The Review Request and Submit screen is displayed. 7. Review the accuracy of the request. If satisfied, click submit registration. The GM IDS Application is displayed. User Login Information Screen 8. Key in the day of your birth 9. You will receive an confirming the submission of your registration request. Your Administrator receives an notification of your pending request, and will approve or reject your request. If approved, you will receive an notification that you have been registered in Covisint, and access to the requested services has been granted. You may now use your ID and Password to log in at If rejected, you will receive an indicating the rejection reason.

Your administrator can assist you in navigating the new GM SupplyPortal. If you need help with application access or profile administration, any of your administrators is able to help you. 1. Log in to GMSP. GM SupplyPower Main Toolbar 2. Click Applications in the top toolbar. The Administration portlet is displayed. Administration Portlet My Administrators 3. Click My Administrators. The screen refreshes, and a list of your administrators is displayed. RESULTS: A list of your organization s administrators is displayed. What happens next? You may wish to contact your administrators if you need help regarding your portal or application access, your user ID, password, etc.

GM SupplyPower Main Toolbar 2. Click Applications in the top toolbar. A list of applications to which you currently have access is displayed in the Applications Quick List portlet. Application Quick List Portlet filter options 3. Filter the list of applications by Not Registered, then click Search. A list of all applications available for you to request is displayed. Click OK to confirm you wish to enter the Administration tool in order to complete the request process. The screen refreshes, and the confirmation message is displayed. If the application you requested requires a site code, enable the checkbox next to the appropriate site code and then click continue. You may be required to enter your GMID or GMIN when requesting certain applications. Task 4 describes the steps to look up this information. Request Confirmation Screen RESULTS: You have successfully requested access to additional applications. What happens next? Your Administrator receives an notification of your pending request, and will approve or reject your request. You will be notified via as soon as a decision is made regarding this request. Log in to GMSP. User Profile Screen 2. Click User Profile in the top toolbar. Your GMID and/or GMIN is displayed in the Personal Information section of the screen. RESULTS: You have successfully looked up your GMID and/or GMIN.

13 Autoweb Registration Instructions General Motors Cad Exchange (GCX) Registration Preparation Registering with Autoweb is easy. Customers should be prepared with a credit card or purchase order and have internet access. Telephone and fax access are preferred as well. General Motors Specific Requirements Customers should be prepared with their company s DUNs number, GM contact s name and information, and a GM Supply Power ID. Please note, a GM Supply Power ID and name are required in order to gain access to Autoweb. If you do not already have a GM Supply Power ID, please register first at before submitting the Autoweb application. On-line Autoweb Registration 1. Customer logs onto a. Existing Autoweb customers log in with Autoweb ID and password and skip to step #8 (Subscriptions link). 2. If NEW customer, select the New Subscribers Click Here link 3. On the New User SignUp page, select Register a new Company or Site link 4. Fill in Company, Contact, and Billing information and then click on the Register Site button 5. Confirm information is correct and hit the Register Site button again 6. Customer will see Your Registration with Autoweb is Complete page, PRINT this page for customer records 7. Click on Annual Subscriptions link 8. On the Subscriptions page, select the Subscribe Now button next to the General Motors CAD File Exchange (GCX) option. 9. On the Supplier Site Registration page, enter your company s DUNs number, your GM contact s name, location, and information, and your GM Supply Power ID number. 10. On the Payment Screen, select payment type (Credit Card OR Purchase Order). a. If paying via Credit Card, choose the credit card type and hit Submit. The next screen will request your credit card information. b. If paying via Purchase Order, fax your Purchase Order to Autoweb at Then contact Customer Service at to receive the authorization code. Hit the Submit button. 11. Autoweb Enrollment is complete! For NEW customers to Establish Security/Encryption Keys The first time customers log on to Autoweb s Main Menu page, they will be prompted to establish security/encryption Keys and password. The Encryption Key password is distinct from the Autoweb log on ID and password and is not recorded by Autoweb for security purposes. When choosing the Encryption/Security password, be sure it is a memorable password and documented in a safe place. New customers will be required to verify Java software is downloaded.
