Whether you manage your account online or through your branch, you can use your AIB Business Start-up Current Account to receive payments and to pay your suppliers and expenses. With an AIB Business Start-up Current Account you can: Set up Direct Debits or Standing Orders to pay your business bills automatically or make regular payments Pay your suppliers electronically through ibusiness Banking or AIB Phone & Internet Banking Make International Payments Save time and money by paying your employees salary electronically Collect payments from customers electronically by becoming a Direct Debit Originator Receive bank statements at intervals to meet your business needs Apply for an Overdraft facility on your account, for flexible, short term working capital. We offer online banking services designed to meet the needs of our small, medium and large business customers. To help you get started, AIB Merchant Services will credit your AIBMS account to the value of 100 for all qualifying AIB Business Start-Up customers. This card is designed specifically for the SME market and offers a simple and efficient alternative to cash and cheque payments. Visa is accepted in more than 240 countries worldwide and can be used online, at Point of Sale and also to withdraw cash (fees and charges apply). You assign which of your employees will hold an AIB Classic Visa Business Card and choose the appropriate Credit Limit for each card A single monthly direct debit payment for all the transactions means no interest and no transaction charges on your AIB Classic Visa Business Card A detailed monthly statement creates efficiency and less paperwork, therefore simplifying the reconciliation of expenses and reducing administration costs for your business. Terms and Conditions Definitions in these conditions: Account means the Business Current Account opened for the Business Start-up Customer. Bank means Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c. Booklet means the Bank s booklet entitled Business Fees and Charges, available in all Bank branches and on the Bank s website. Business Start-up Customer means a person, persons or corporate entity, who is starting up a business where an Account is being opened for the first time with the Bank for the purpose of operating this new business. Offer means Account Maintenance Fees and Account Transaction Fees (as described under the heading Account Fees at A. and B. in the Booklet) will be waived for two years from the date the Account is opened, excluding cash handling fees. The Offer and associated benefits shall be withdrawn immediately on closure of the Account by the Business Start -Up Customer or the Bank, or, conversion of the Account by the Business Start-Up Customer during the two year period from the date the Account is opened and the fee benefits for the whole of the last quarter shall be lost. The benefits of the Offer shall not apply to any new product. 4. At the end of the Offer period, the Bank s standard fees and charges will apply to the Account. 5. These conditions may be altered from time to time by the Bank; any such alteration shall be effective and binding on the Business Start- Up Customer two months after notice of same has been advised to the Business Start-Up Customer (other than an alteration in the fees and charges - which will be effective from the date specified in the pre-notification), by post or by advertisement published in at least one national daily newspaper or by such other means as the Bank may decide. 6. The Bank reserves the right to amend, withdraw or terminate the Offer at any time, but without affecting the entitlement of Business Start-Up Customers who have already availed of it. 26 AIB Merchant Services Offer Terms & Conditions. Definitions in these conditions: Offer means that AIB Merchant Services ( AIBMS ) will credit 100 to a new AIBMS account opened by Qualifying Customers 90 days after their first card transaction. The first card transaction must be made within 90 days of opening the new AIBMS account. Offer period is from Saturday, 1 st November 2014 until further notice. Qualifying Customer means (i) a person, persons, or corporate entity, who is starting up a business or whose business is in operation for less than three years and is opening a new AIB Business Start-up Current Account for the first time during the Offer period, AND (ii) is a new AIB Merchant Services customer. Bank means Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c. AIB Merchant Services means First Merchant Processing (Ireland) Limited, trading as AIB Merchant Services (AIBMS). First Merchant Processing (Ireland) Limited is a merchant acquiring joint venture between First Data Corporation and Allied Irish Banks p.l.c. 1. All Qualifying Customers shall be subject to the standard AIBMS application and approval process. 2. AIBMS fees and charges shall apply from the date the merchant account is opened and the merchant ID is issued. Details are available from AIBMS by calling (01) credit will be shown on the Qualifying Customer s statement following the 90 day period after the first card transaction. The 100 credit will be made to the merchant account approximately 14 days after the statement is issued. No alternative will be offered. 4. The Offer is only available through your AIB Relationship Manager. The Offer is not available online or directly from AIBMS. 5. The Offer must be applied for within 2 years of the Qualifying Customer opening an AIB Business Start-up Current Account. 6. The Offer is made in conjunction with AIBMS 7. The first card transaction must be made within 90 days of opening the new AIBMS account. 8. The Bank does not give any representations or warranties in relation to any matter relating to the service provided by AIBMS and accepts no liability in relation thereto. 9. Complaints by a customer relating to any unsuccessful application to AIB Merchant Services must be made directly to AIBMS on (01) In the event that you wish to make a complaint in relation to the Bank, you may do so in writing directly to your AIB Relationship Manager, your local branch or call us on The Bank and AIBMS reserve the right to amend, withdraw or terminate the Offer at any time, but without affecting the entitlement of Qualifying Customers who have already availed of this AIB Merchant Services Start-up Offer.
