2 About Ballet 180 Ballet 180 seeks to facilitate a 180-degree transformation in the lives of our dancers and the community by creating a positive platform for high quality artistry and service to society. Ballet 180 (Formerly 180 Dance Company) was founded in 2009 by Artistic Director Kelly Murray Farrell. The company made its debut in September of 2009 with a successful performance at the Chester County Art Association. The company performs original work through staged productions and has performed with regional and international artists through participation in the Philadelphia Dance Collective, the FringeArts Festival, Philly s Got Talent, and the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts (PIFA). Ballet 180 is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization.

3 Kelly Artistic Murray Direction Farrell Kelly began her dance studies at the age of three, studying with Rock School West, the Dance Center, and the Academy of the Dance. During her training Kelly performed with West Chester Performing Arts, Brandywine Ballet Company, and the Wilmington Ballet Company. In addition, Kelly spent summers with Washington Ballet and Boston Ballet for their summer intensive programs. While working towards a BA in Communication from the University of Delaware, Kelly received an offer to dance full-time with the Ballet Theatre of Maryland, which she accepted. In 2005 Kelly returned to Delaware to finish her degree while dancing with ContempraDance Theatre. While with Contempra, she had the opportunity to tour throughout Poland as a guest performer at the Ladek Zdroj International Dance Festival. After graduating from college, Kelly moved to Washington, DC where she was asked to perform with a select group of dancers under the direction of Miya Hisaka, Founder/ Director of El Teatro de Danza Contemporanea de El Salvador. In 2008 Kelly returned to the Philadelphia area and founded Ballet 180 (formerly 180 Dance Company) in Kelly has led Ballet 180 in performances in the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts (PIFA), Philadelphia Dance Collective, Philly Live Arts Festival, Fringe Wilmington, Philly s Got Talent, and in various public performances at local schools, churches, art centers, and other community events. Kelly received an award for her choreography through the Mordechai Anielewicz Creative Arts Competition and was selected as a member of the Philadelphia dance community to receive training in the methodology of the awardwinning National Dance Institute (NDI). She has taught at the prestigious Rock School of the Pennsylvania Ballet as well as various other schools throughout the Philadelphia area. After over 25 years of dance experience and over 10 years of teaching experience, Kelly is thrilled to share her knowledge and love for dance with future students at Studio 180, the official school of Ballet 180.

8 Ballet 180 Trainees are students age 8-18 that enjoy performing and/or seek a future career in dance. Trainees are afforded the opportunity to perform in community outreach events and to audition for roles in seasonal productions by Ballet 180. Training Company

9 Move 360 Our Move 360 outreach initiative encourages people to use dance as a relationship-building means of self-expression, self-discovery, and tool for physical and emotional well-being. Annual events, workshops, and performances provide resources for connecting with new friends and exploring the power of dance as it relates to the individual and the community.
