1 Department: Social Work College: College of Health Sciences and Human Services Division: Division of Academic Affairs Demonstrate ability - Students will demonstrate the ability to engage in valuebased ethical social work practice (SLO 2) Unit Assessment Report - Four Column UTPA SLO Program - B.S.W. in Social Work Capstone course - Integrative Paper Direct - Capstone Course Evaluation 90% of students will receive a grade of B or better on the Integrative Paper. 05/16/ % of graduating students earned a grade of A or B in their Integrative Papers Criterion Not Met 05/16/ Our goal was to have at least 90% of students earn an A or a B in their integrative papers. We understand that the difference between 89 and 90 is not statistically significant however an effort will be made to improve students' performance in this area. This issue will be addressed by the two professors who teach our Integrative Seminar. Exit survey of graduates 90% will indicate that they examined values and ethics in their field learning during the students' supervisory sessions. 12/15/ % of students earned a grade of A or B in their Integrative Papers. 05/16/ % of graduating students reported having examined values and ethics as part of their field experience on an ongoing basis. For example, many of our courses are offered fully on Blackboard or are Web enhanced, students complete Power Point presentations, use computer software for data analysis, complete online literature reviews and among other things they use electronic data bases to complete legislative histories.
