CDE and University College partner to provide Supplemental Instruction (SI) for UTA online learners in critical undergraduate classes. UTA joins national e-tutoring consortium. ITL funding supports connected language learning with partner faculty and students in Russia, China, and Brazil. LINK Lab founded, with May 2014 formal opening planned. Gates Foundation supported international MOOC Research Initiative Conference, December, Learning Innovation & Networked Knowledge (LINK) Research Lab Higher education must define its role in a technological, digital, and networked world. Internationally recognized research laboratory where researchers, educators, and graduate students can connect, share, and collaborate in advancing social and technological networks, future learning models, and explore the future of higher education. Learning Innovation Network Lab will serve as hub of network of internationally known scholars who along with UT Arlington faculty conduct research on educational technology and its impact on teaching and learning. What does education look like in 2025? 2050? How will learning analytics and big data help us better understand teaching and learning? Is the future of learning personalized, connected, and global?
