DRAIN BUSTERS Ptumblng P.O. Box 455 Garfield, NJ S~l.!tiom.., Inc: Tel: Fax: To Whom It May Concern: Realizing how busy you are in your everyday endeavors, I would greatly appreciate you taking a moment to review how a preventive maintenance program can benefit you. Drainbusters Inc. is a 24 hour full service licensed plumbing and drainage service company serving all ofnew Jersey as well as many parts of neighboring states for over twenty years. During this time we h<tve listened to the wants and needs of our commercial management clients and learned what is most important to them. As you most likely agree, one is the need to limit or eliminate emergency sanitary I storm sewer backups. These backups, especially sanitary sewers could pose a health hazard or interrupt operations until remedied. Not to mention the extremely high cost of emergency service calls. Townships and local sewer authorities, on orders from the NJ Department of Environmental Protection, have been passing new ordinances requiring severely limited discharges of grease and harmful solids into municipal sewer systems. Other Townships have increased enforcement of existing ordinances and levied expensive fines. This situation can put a tremendous strain on the relationship between a tenant and the property manager. To avoid these unpleasant situations, we have designed a comprehensive preventative maintenance program specific to each property. Here's how it works. As the property manager you provide Drainbusters Inc. with the name and location of a property you may want serviced. We then dispatch a representative to physically inventory and assess the sewer system by determining the condition of the pipeline inside manholes and locating cleanout access points. We measure and document the sewers and record their location. Next, we make an appointment with the person directly responsible for a particular property and discuss the actual history of situations that have occurred in the past, and their frequency. After we are satisfied that we have gathered all the information we available, we put all this information together and decide on what course of service we think should be taken. For example, some properties we may suggest a general cleaning quarterly while others may require an annual or bi-annual program. We then send a formal proposal to you for your approval. When approved we add that property to our maintenance data base and all future visits are scheduled. Our clients have found that the maintenance cost being applied to tenant cam charges are a far more agreeable expense. Since implementing a preventative maintenance program they actually show significant savings in their annual sanitary/storm sewer budget expense. This fact, along with an almost 80% reduction in emergency service calls makes it extremely compelling to explore this option. I will be calling you in the near future to schedule a personal visit with you. In the meantime, please feel free to call me any questions you may have. I would also be happy to provide you with a reference list of some of our current property management companies. Best Regards, Stuart Roth President

SelNer & Drain Cleaning Whether it's a toilet, sink, or main sewer, Drainbusters will solve your clogged drain problems quickly and effectively. We use the least invasive methods possible for your blocked drain or sewer ;:::-- ~ n:- =;::: pipes. ::::: ~::. ~ If the actual cause of the problem is not obvious we can perform a CCTV site survey to establish exactly what and where the problem is. Once we have determined the cause of the blockage we can employ one of several methods to reduce the chances of any future back ups. Our exclusive Hydro-Scour jetting for example can unblock drains quickly and efficiently. This method only uses water at high pressure so it is 100% environmentally friendly. WWW. drain busters. COm
SelNer Lateral Re-Lining Repairing broken or cracked pipes, made of virtually any material, without extensive excavation or property damage is now a reality. Drainbusters employs a proven, simple solution for repairing lateral service pipelines. The specification tests our materials to a minimum life span of 50 years. Areas of Application Drainbusters employs a pipeline rehabilitation method for 3" 4" 6" and 8" pipe diameters. Virtually any pipe material can be lined. 1. Stop infiltration/discharge 2. Restore cracked pipe. 4. Extend host pipe life. 5. Prevent root intrusion. 3. Reduce cleaning cost. How it Works The system Drainbusters employs uses PVC coated polyester felt tube impregnated with a two part ambient cured liquid resin. The impregnated tube is inverted inside out allowing the resin to bond with the existing host pipe and the PVC coating becoming the smooth joint less inner pipe wall. The special lateral inversion process design allows for 22 degree, 45 degree and sweeping 90 degree bends to be lined. Sectional Point Repair Cost Effective- Structural Repair Process that involves a pre-measured fiberglass liner being installed inside pipe to cover the damaged or missing pipe section. This process involves attaching the sectional point to a specialized bladder, then positioning the bladder over the damaged area inside the host pipe. The bladder is then inflated and held in place until the thermo-setting resin is cured. Access points are required through upstream and downstream manholes. Prior to installation of the sectional point repair, the host pipe is cleaned and free of any foreign objects. This will allow a good bond to the host pipe material. AFTER
Root Control Program Sewer stoppages and overflows cost municipalities millions of dollars each year. They also threaten public health and damage your local environment. Tree roots are the most common and preventable cause of sewer stoppages and overflows. RootX is the original, non-metam sodium foaming root control in an easy-to-apply powdered formulation. It foams on contact with water to kill roots, inhibit regrowth, and restore pipe flow capacity. It's simple and fast. The patented RootX formulation foams on contact with water, filling the entire pipe to reach the top where 90% of pipeline root intrusion occurs. From start to finish, a RootX application takes less than 30 minutes whether you are working with main or lateral lines. It's an effective and proven treatment. The active ingredient in RootX is the aquatic herbicide Dichlobenil that has been used for years to control aquatic weeds. RootX contains surfactants, degreasing agents that strip away the grime on roots, allowing Dichlobenil to penetrate the root ends. RootX is labled for use in both sanitary and storm pipes and is not a restricted use product. It's a proven solution. RootX promotes bacterial growth that assists in the decomposition of dead roots. For over a decade thousands of municipalities and Professional Drain Cleaners depend on RootX for their maintenance solution. WWW. drain busters. COm
Hydro-Scour Flushing Using water at pressures to 4000 PSI, sewer, drains, and pipelines can now be thoroughly cleaned of roots, grease and debris. With a full line of attachments Drainbusters can clean lines from 1" to 36" using the same techniques. This method completely removes debris, scale and grease from the line. All material is blasted I dissolved by a high pressure stream of water and floats away. Rotary nozzles clean pipes with 360 spray patters. Typical Application Include: Sanitary Sewers Septic Lines Storm Sewers Roof Drains Floor Drains Parking Lot Drains Loading Dock Drain E.P.A. & D.E.P. Clean-ups Restaurants Shopping Center Schools Factories Why just open your line when you can clean it? Grease, sludge, sand and debris are the main causes of commercial drain line blockage. Our Hydro-Scou~ high pressure jetting can help you clean this sediment by: Penetrating and emulsifying grease Breaking up sludge and debris Pulverizing roots Cutting out hardened scale Flushing out the system, leaving lines clear Cable snaking of pipelines has its place in cleaning a clogged sewer or drain. But, our Hydro-Scou~ jetting service will not only clear a blockage, but will actually clean the pipe to its original flow capacity. The debris is completely removed form your line, and your chances of blockage in the future are minimized. How does jetting Work? One of the most remarkable developments in sewer cleaning technology is the water jet. A hose is propelled by water into the sewer line under tremendous pressure. As the hose returns, the sewer line is cleaned by powerful forward and reverse sets of water, which was the scale, silt, sand, grease, and other material back to the manhole for removal. Cleaner pipes mean fewer service calls and less downtime. This means you save money!

Video SelNer Inspection Drain line video inspection systems for waste water and sewer lines are useful and necessary tools to examine the interior of drain pipes and sewer systems without destroying the infrastructure surrounding them. Pipes often become clogged due to grease, oil, fats, hair or large physical obstructions. Since, by their very nature, plumbing pipes are a "closed system", they are usually behind walls, under floors, under ground, behind the sink, or just plain hard to get at or see into. The drain line video inspection system is an extremely useful tool because it gives Drainbusters, visibility into these otherwise dark, closed plumbing systems. Used in combination with a hydro-jetter, we can spot and remove obstructions in the most cost effective manner possible, without destruction of other structures. Drainbusters, employs drain line video inspection systems and hydro-jetters as part of its overall strategy to help commercial clients, especially in the food service industries, keep their drain lines clear and working properly. Through its trained staff of professionals, Drainbusters, offers solutions to clogged pipes and sewage systems using a combination of bioremediation products and tools such as video inspection systems and hydro jetters to keep clients plumbing and waste systems operating smoothly. Typically, the video inspection system is used in Evaluation and Diagnosis - to help identify problem areas. The condition of the drain system is unknown to most clients until a problem becomes critical and sewage is flowing from the drains to the floor. Drainbusters, uses drain line video inspection systems for waste water and sewer lines to detect and diagnose problems at their origin, then again to monitor before and after results of using proper bioremediation techniques to keep drain systems clear thereafter. 11 Preventive Maintenance For over 20 years, Drainbusters has been responding to emergency sewer backups at shopping malls, office buildings, manufacturing plants, and a veriety of other places of business. These backups have caused businesses to temporaily close, production lines to halt, and have been generally aggravating to the many people affected by them. Additionally the high cost of emergency services including clean up costs once the problem is fixed can strain any company's budget. In response to this, we at Drainbusters have developed a comprehensive preventive maintenance program specific to an individual property. To design a maintenance program we first discuss with the owner or representative the general history of problems at a specific location. We then dispatch our representative to inventory and assess the proable condition of the sewer system by usually inspecting available manholes and/or clean-out plugs. When we are satisfied that we have gathered all the information there is available, we use that information to determine what services need to be performed and how frequest. A cost is determined and presented to the client in writing. Upon approval, the property is entered into our database and all future visits are scheduled. The client will be notified of the date and time of our service by or by phone several days prior to our arrival. Our clients, since implementing a preventative maintenance program with us have reported significant actual savings in their annual sanitary I storm sewer budget expense. This fact, along with an almost 70% reduction in emergency service calls makes it extremely compelling to explore.
