Gaspool & Gaspool L (AEQUAMUS), low calorific gas - A subsidiary of DONG Energy Pipelines, Nowega, Gastransport Nord, Gasunie Deutschland Transport Services, ONTRAS VNG Gastransport and Gascade. The quantities of gas delivered and accepted are determined according to the allocation rules of the respective network provider. The delivering contractual partner bears all the risks connected to delivery up to the transfer station and the accepting contractual partner bears all the risks connected with the acceptance stating at the transfer station. AOC - The virtual gas trading point covering the Spanish transport system, operated by Enagas. Excludes underground storage sites and LNG terminals. Enagás is the sole transmission system operator for the primary gas transmission trunk network, and is authorised to build, operate, and maintain LNG regasification facilities, and to transport and to provide basic natural gas storage. Gas is transported in methane tankers at 160 C below zero in liquid state, and it is then unloaded at regasification plants. AUTVTP (Virtual Point) - Austrian Virtual Point. As a result of the implementation of the 3 rd European Energy Act and the entry into force of the Austrian Gaswirtschaftsgesetz (Natural Gas Act) 2011, the delivery point for sales and purchases of Natural Gas concluded at the Austrian ITAB (Integrated Area Baumgarten) and at all other delivery points which are located at the border outside the current Control Area East in respect of which matching 6
7 services are provided by Central European Gas Hub AG (such as, but not limited to, the points commonly known as Baumgarten MS 2 and MS 3) (the Affected Delivery Points ) shall be transferred to the Austrian Virtual Point in the Market Area East in Austria operated by Central European Gas Hub AG ( VTP ). CZECHVP (Virtual Point) - The virtual gas hub, VTP, covering the Czech Republic, operated by NET4GAS. Natural gas entering and exiting the Czech Republic passes through a system of acceptance and transferral (custody transfer), i.e. it is quantitatively and qualitatively metered and measured at border transfer stations at Lanžhot, Hora Svaté Kateřiny and Brandov, and in Germany at the border transfer stations at Waidhaus and Olbernhau. Gas system technology allows the flow of gas to be diversified at these border transfer stations. GTF (DK) The Denmark virtual trading point for Gas Transfer Facility, traded bilaterally at Energinet.dk s GTF. The Danish transmission system is constructed as an entry-exit model, with three entry and exit points at Nybro, Ellund and Dragor. NCG & NCGL (low calorific gas) - NetConnect Germany Virtual Point is a joint company for operating the market area cooperation from the grid companies bayernets, Fluxys TENP, Open Grid Europe, GRTgaz Deutschland, terranets and Thyssengas. Gas is converted technically (from H to L gas and from L to H gas) according to technical feasibility in the Werne and Scheidt mixing plants of the network operator Open Grid Europe and in the Broichweiden mixing plant of the network operator Thyssengas. PEGNORDH (North of France) PEGSUD (South of France) & PEGTIGF (South West of France) - The French virtual gas hub covering the northern (high calorific) and southern market zone operated by GRTgaz and the southwest market zone operated by TIGF. France is connected by gas pipelines to the north, east and south of Europe. PSV - The virtual gas hub run by Italian network operator Snam Rete Gas. The transport of natural gas is an integrated service which involves providing transmission capacity and the transport of the gas delivered to Snam Rete Gas S.p.A. at the entry points of the National Network (connected with the Import 7
8 lines from Russia, Northern Europe and North Africa, with the re-gasification plants and the production and storage centres located in Italy) up to the redelivery points of the Regional Network, (connected to local distribution utilities and large industrial and power plants) where the gas is redelivered to the users of the service (the Users). The import gas is injected into the National Network via seven entry points where the network joins up with the import pipelines (Tarvisio, Gorizia, Passo Gries, Mazara del Vallo, Gela) and the LNG regasification terminals (Panigaglia, Cavarzere). Domestically produced gas is introduced into the Network through 51 entry points from the production fields or their collection/treatment plants; natural gas storage fields are also connected to the transmission network. Position Limits TTFHICAL51.6 The Dutch Title Transfer Facility (TTF) virtual gas hub covering all high calorific entry and exit points in the Netherlands, operated by Dutch TSO Gas Transport Services. The Dutch TSO Gas Transport Services register the title transfers of gas via the TTF by means of a nomination. This is an electronic message stating the volumes of gas transferred the period, and the purchasing and selling parties. Zeebrugge Point (ZTP) & ZTP L (low calorific): The physical gas hub at Zeebrugge (Zee Beach) in Belgium operated by Huberator, a 100% subsidiary of Belgian TSO Fluxys. Gas will be delivered/received to/from the Platform for the Zeebrugge Beach Physical Services. 12 Tick Delivery/Settlement Terms Physical delivery in accordance to the rules of delivery of the hub operator, the National Grid, an international energy delivery business whose principal activities are in the regulated gas and electricity industries. It owns and operates the UK s natural gas transportation system. For all contracts except Within Day, matching Acquiring and Disposing Trade Nominations are input by buyer and seller to National Grid before 18:30 on the business day prior to the commencement of the delivery period. Delivery takes place in kilowatt-hours ( kilowatt hours per Therm). For Within Day contracts for the remaining delivery hours of the current gas day, the buyer and seller must ensure the National Grid is adequately notified in order to ensure delivery is possible. 14 UK Power Description UK Electricity contracts are for physical delivery of Electricity through the National Grid, the transmissions system operator in the UK. Delivery is made equally each hour throughout the delivery period. s are based on the Electricity Forwards Agreement (EFA) calendar (Power Committee (PTC) of the Futures and Options Association (FOA)).
