2 Presenter Bios Steve Kwan is the Product Manager for the PI Server product, including Data Archive, Assets, Events, and Analytics. Prior to joining OSIsoft in 2010, Steve spent 15 years in various engineering, and project/product management roles with GE Energy. Denis Vacher is the Group Lead for the PI3 team (Core Libraries, MDA, Buffering, Data Archive) and also Future Data Initiative Lead. He s been with OSIsoft for over 13 years and helped steer all PI Server releases since 2004, with both passion and enthusiasm.

As a maintenance engineer, I want to manage our service schedule in our PI System, so that we operate our facility at maximum efficiency and safety, while minimizing equipment failures and downtimes. As a process or lab engineer, I want to use predictive analytics with data from our PI System, in order to generate and optimize process models, while researching future products and production techniques. As a system administrator, I want built-in and flexible future data storage in our PI System, so that all data is safe, secure, and highly available, and specific retention policies can be easily implemented.
