5 This is how color naming work: Undershirt The most acceptable color names are the Primary; red, yellow, blue. Secondary; Green, orange, violet. Tertiary; violet, blue violet, blue green, yellow green, yellow orange, and red orange. Therefore, most industries as textile, fashion, automotive, paint, and building, seldom uses these standard color names, even if the product color is the exact color of the standards. ne reason is marketing, a way to sell the product faster and profitable. It s believed that giving a romantic or elegant name to a color become more attractive than the standard color names. Color combinations of tone split-complementary Shirt Pant I don t endorse any other color name beside the standard names. Instead, I created two charts with color names with the most popular giving names to tint, tone, and shade, as; crimson, avocado, moss, teal, aqua, turquoise, etc. Color names that you are more use to it. Nevertheless, those are considered Industry color names given by manufacturer, designer of clothing and textile, and unfortunately they change the color names without further notice, that s why I don t use the Industry color names system to name the colors of the Illustrated combinations. Instead I use the standard color names to avoid mix-up with the names. The following Illustration shown how colors are named to describe the color combinations. Scheme color values Standard color name TNE SPLIT-CPLEENTARY Yellow green Violet Yellow violet Blue violet utfit name Shirt, undershirt, pant Shirt, undershirt, pant
