Web site: American Association of Colleges of Nursing CampusRN/AACN Nursing Scholarship Fund For students who are enrolled in a BSN, master s or doctoral degree program in nursing at an AACN member school. Special consideration will be given to students who are enrolled in a master s or doctoral program with the goal of pursuing a nursing faculty career, or who are completing an RN-to-BSN program or are enrolled in an accelerated baccalaureate or master s degree nursing program. 2 Jack Kent Cooke Foundation The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Graduate Scholarship Program will award scholarships to seniors or recent graduates of an accredited U.S. college or university. Each award will cover a portion of the educational expenses, including tuition, living expenses, required fees, and books for the degree chosen. Applicants must be planning to enroll in a full-time graduate degree program and hold an undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or better. Health Resources and Services Administration, Bureau of Health Professions Nursing Scholarship Program Available to full- or part-time nursing students enrolled or accepted into an accredited diploma, associate degree, baccalaureate or graduate program. Must be a U.S. citizen or national and commit to at least two years service at a health care facility with a critical shortage of nurses. 3 National Health Service Corps Scholarship Program This program provides scholarships and monthly stipends to students in nurse-midwifery and nurse practitioner programs. Recipients must agree to provide full-time primary health services in a health professional shortage area. Phone: (800) Web site: Nurse Education Assistance Loan Program Part-time or full-time graduate nursing students who are planning to work in the state of Ohio as full-time nurses upon graduation are eligible to apply for this loan. The maximum loan amount is $3,000 per academic year. Upon employment as a full-time nurse in the state of Ohio, the loan will be canceled at a rate of 20% per year for a maximum of five years or 100% cancellation. Any non-canceled portion of the loan is paid off at an interest rate of 8%.
