This should also assist with the appointment slot issues (ASIs) we have experiencing for this service as we get a large proportion of referrals sent to us using the clinic type Not Otherwise Specified. Please note that some of these services run across sites so locations when referring patients. A larger proportion of ENT clinics take place at. How to find the services in Choose and Book? You can find these services by choosing the following: Ear, Nose Various (see each service below for mappings This service is restricted to 16 years and over and is for Routine Urgent referrals. Please can you ensure that the referral letter is attached within 24 hours for urgent referrals and within 3 days for routine referrals. CAB Specialty/ Type Conditions treated/ is suitable for patients with Ear Adult Ear sites** General Otology (Ear) Conditions including: Simple ear pain / recurrent, External otitis/ eczema of the ear, Itchy ears, Pressure in the ear, Hearing loss with or without tinnitus, Recurrent ear infections, Minimal dizzy symptoms Please DO NOT refer perforated ear drum into this clinic (use the Specialist clinic). Patients with the following problems: Nose/ Sinus; Balance/ Dizziness; Facial Plastic and Skin Lesions; Snoring (not Sleep Apnoea); (inc Voice/ Swallowing); Neck lump/ thyroid; salivary gland; General Nose / Please do not refer into this clinic or the referral will be rejected. Nose/ Sinus General Nose Sinus sites** General Rhinology conditions, including, All general nasal disorders, All general sinus disorders, Common allergic rhinitis, Simple nasal runny nose, Headaches/ pressure in nose face, Sinus pressure, Straight forward deviated nasal septum/ turbinate, Sneezing / itchy nose, Loss of smell, Nose bleeds, Medical rhinology, Nasal polyp. Ear; Facial Plastic and Skin Lesions; Snoring (not Sleep Apnoea); (inc Voice/ Swallowing); Neck lump/ thyroid; Salivary Gland.
