2 At the end of the first year, students opting to follow the Honours degree in Music will be required to choose one of the following streams: Musicology, Performance or Composition. Once the student has chosen a stream one will be automatically binding oneself to continue studying the stream during the third year of study. During the second and third years of the course a student is bound to take all the credits of his chosen stream of study together with study-units designated as compulsory. In addition to the compulsory studyunits, students are required to register for a number of elective study-units which may be taken from the elective units on offer, or from the other two main streams as applicable.
