1 New EQuIS Professional Library Pricing and Enterprise 6 Price List and Upgrade Program Concord, MA - June EarthSoft announces today the Enterprise 6 Price List and a new Price List and Version for EQuIS Professional (Pro) bundling into libraries many of the EDD formats, interfaces, graphs, reports, and exports now sold individually and separately. EarthSoft Professional clients under Maintenance will receive significantly more software for the same cost. A Schema change is required when upgrading to EQuIS This is one of EarthSoft s most significant upgrades ever and offers a tremendous amount of new software at no charge to EQuIS end users. EQuIS Professional Standard Libraries can be enhanced along the Professional Data Quality track or along the Professional Graphics track, resulting in six possible Professional Libraries: EQuIS Pro Standard includes the base EQuIS Professional application with all standard features and free EDDs. EQuIS Pro Plus Interfaces includes the Pro Standard application and library and adds many exports and custom reports. EQuIS Pro Plus EDDs includes the Pro Standard application and library and adds many EDD formats. EQuIS Pro Premier Graphics includes the Pro Standard application, the Pro Plus Interfaces Library and enhances them with interfaces to GIS/CAD. EQuIS Pro Premier Data Quality includes the Pro Standard application, the Pro Plus EDD Library and enhances them with DQM and SPM. EQuIS Pro Ultimate includes the Pro Standard application, the Pro Plus Interfaces Library, the Pro Premier Graphics Library, the Pro Plus EDD Library, the Pro Premier Data Quality Library and enhances them with EQuIS Alive and EQuIS LakeWatch. EQuIS Professional Standard will include the Crosstab Report Writer, EDP and all the free EDDs, the standard reports library. Pro Standard can load data, build queries, generate spreadsheet, graphical outputs and trend charts, contours, and other simple graphics. Many small consulting firms have Standard, which will still have a List Price of $4,500. A Plus Library of Professional adds to Standard either a number of third party graphics interfaces, including EnviroInsite, EVS, RockWorks, gint and others, or a number of EDD

2 formats, such as GeoTracker, ERPIMS, WQX, SEDD, and others. The Premier Libraries of Professional will also be divided into a Graphics Library including interfaces to both ArcGIS and AutoCAD, or a Data Quality Library including both Sample Planning Module (SPM) and Data Qualification Module (DQM). Our experience is that the two different kinds of Plus and Premier end users may be in different departments, so we broke up these libraries. The Professional Ultimate Library is for EQuIS power users that require most or all of the EQuIS Professional Graphics and Data Quality funcationality (all libraries, all tables, all reference values, etc. that are included in both Premier Libraries) plus both EQuIS Live and EQuIS LakeWatch; this is a more complete deliverable of the EarthSoft Development team s entire body of work each year. EQuIS Professional is available for immediate download and installation, and is free for clients with current EQuIS Professional Maintenance. In almost all situations, EQuIS End Users will receive additional software for no additional charge. EarthSoft would like to take this opportunity to go through each client configuration and guide them to one of the new bundled EQuIS systems. EarthSoft expects to realize significant savings in Maintenance operations, since it will no longer have to track so many EDDs and interfaces and generate license keys for all these modules, and can operate with fewer License types in large complex portfolios with clients. These savings will be passed on to our clients and used to continue to improve the EarthSoft Help Desk services.

3 EQuIS Express Pricing is also changed reflecting the new bundles. EQuIS Express and EQuIS Online are the EQuIS systems of choice for small firms with fewer than five end users. EarthSoft has significant resources with a variety of servers on multiple continents for hosting EQuIS and hosts some of the largest hydrofracking databases in the world. Concurrently, EarthSoft is publishing our new Enterprise 6 Pricing and the details of the Enterprise Upgrade Program. EQuIS Enterprise 6 is an entirely new family of EQuIS software products including newly integrated workflow capabilities. Enterprise 5 will receive no further investment from EarthSoft and will receive Help Desk support for 2 years, until June Each EQuIS Enterprise 6 includes all of the Enterprise modules and the modules are not available seperately. Furthermore new EQuIS Schema Licenses are now available only with Enterprise 6 such that each new Professional License must first obtain an Enterprise 6 License, either through purchase or upgrade. EQuIS Enterprise 6 requires the client to have an EQuIS Professional or engage a consultant with one. Enterprise 6 will be sold in Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Schemas and Workflow Libraries. The EDD formats and the Report libraries are driven by the Schema selections. Enterprise 6 includes all the Enterprise 5 modules including Enterprise EDP, Enterprise EZView, Enterprise EIA, and the all new Enterprise 6 WebMap (replacing EQuIS for ArcGIS Server). The price of Enterprise 6 Bronze approximates the same price as clients current Enterprise 5 configuration, adding significantly more functionality. EarthSoft Enterprise 5 Licensees with a complete set of Enterprise 5 modules will have a $0 Upgrade Fee to Enterprise 6. Enterprise 5 Licensees without the complete set of modules may either incur an Upgrade Fee or a license adjustment to upgrade to Enterprise 6. Enterprise 5 clients with active Maintenance receive 100% credit for paid License Fees of surrendered products to upgrade to an Enterprise 6 configuration. Enterprise 6 Schemas will be priced three main ways:

4 License Model 1 Per Core License, on licensee s servers, for Perpetual use for Internal End Users. This is for all Physical Cores, minimum 4 cores per machine. Required and consumed Core Licenses are calculated as in Micirosoft SQL Server License Model 2: Per Server License + Per Active Named User (ANU), on licensee s server, for Perpetual Internal User. An ANU is a centrally authenticated Active Named User License; the registry size is double the ANU quantity. All EQuIS Express use this model. License Model 3:Hosted EQuIS Online; on EarthSoft s servers, six different package sizes are available; all Enterprise 6 Libraries and all Professional products are available for whatever quantity of ANU are required. Subscriptions are available for 1, 2, or 3 year terms and pricing options include monthly, quarterly, annually or lump sum. As with our perpetual licensing, EQuIS Online Customers may grow their data management operations incrementally without incurring licensing penalties. EarthSoft Systems Engineers and Help Desk are beginning with EQuIS Online hosted clients, and then working through the entire EQuIS 5 installed base for conversions to Enterprise 6 and Professional licensing.
