2 Major Components i) Zeenov Agora Signaling Server Zeenov Agora Signaling Server is a web server capable of handling HTTP/HTTPS requests from Zeenov Agora web clients or Zeenov Agora mobile apps. This server is responsible for handling conference creation requests and informing other clients about the conference. ii) iii) iv) Zeenov Agora Presence Server Zeenov Agora Presence Server is a real-time presence server built to serve presence information across different platforms, devices etc. Zeenov Agora Database Server This is a highly optimized RDBMS that holds and records all metadata related to the meetings and users, for billing and reporting purposes. Zeenov Agora Recording Server Zeenov Agora Recording Server is a file server that can hold large volumes of conference data, based on user demand. This server stores conference data for future playback and retrieves it upon request from Zeenov Agora viewer. v) Zeenov Agora HTTP Data Server Zeenov Agora HTTP Data Server is a server that handles real-time, high-volume HTTP data traversal through it. The design architecture of Zeenov Agora HTTP Data Server allows multiple servers to be in a single deployment, depending on number of concurrent meetings needed, thereby meets load-balancing needs and redundancy requirements. vi) vii) viii) Zeenov Agora SSL Data Server Zeenov Agora SSL Data Server is the server that handles real-time, high-volume SSL data traversal through it. The design architecture of Zeenov Agora SSL Data Server allows multiple servers to be in a single deployment, depending on number of concurrent conferences needed, thereby meets load-balancing needs and redundancy requirements. Zeenov Agora SIP Gateway This component acts as the translator from Zeenov Agora protocol to SIP protocol. Zeenov Agora SIP Registrar Zeenov Agora SIP registrar performs the duties of a regular SIP Registrar. 2

3 ix) Zeenov Agora SIP Dialog Proxy Server This server handles SIP requests. x) Zeenov Agora H.323 Server This server performs the duty of regular H.323 Server. xi) xii) Zeenov Agora MCU This is a high performance MCU that handles the multi-point video conferencing from Zeenov Agora, SIP and H.323 clients. SIP/H.323 end-points connect to a Zeenov Agora meeting using Zeenov Agora MCU. This server acts as a Media gateway and protocol gateway between SIP/H.323 end-point and Zeenov Agora. Zeenov Agora MCU allows meetings with only SIP end-points, SIP multi-point conferences and meetings with SIP, H.323 and Agora clients. Zeenov Agora Client Zeenov Agora clients are available on Microsoft Windows, Mac, IPhone, ipad, Android Phones and Android Tablets. SIP and H.323 end-points are also supported. Meeting Scenarios currently supported i) Conference between Agora Clients Once the conference setup is done through Zeenov Agora Signaling Server (ZASS), the ZASS assigns a Zeenov Agora Data Server (HTTP or SSL) for a particular conference. Conference control communication is carried out through ZASS and real time data (voice, video and share) is communicated through Zeenov Agora Data Server (ZADS). ADS will use Zeenov Agora Recording Server (ZARS) to record conference data if required ii) iii) Conference between SIP Clients After completion of the SIP registration process on the Zeenov Agora SIP registrar, Zeenov Agora SIP Dialog Proxy Server handles the conference initiation process. The conference data traversal will be through Zeenov Agora MCU and conference recording is done using Zeenov Agora Data Server and Zeenov Agora Recording Server. Conference between H.323 Clients H.323 clients are treated the same way as SIP clients, with the help of Zeenov Agora H.323-SIP Gateway. 3

4 iv) Conference between Zeenov Agora and SIP Clients In this case, Zeenov Agora SIP Gateway handles conference control communication. Zeenov Agora Data Server provides conference data from Zeenov Agora clients to Zeenov Agora MCU to serve SIP clients and Zeenov Agora MCU provides conference data from SIP clients to Zeenov Agora Data Server to serve Zeenov Agora clients. If data mixing is required (more than 2 clients) it will be done at Zeenov Agora MCU. v) Conference between Zeenov Agora and H.323 Clients H.323 clients are treated the same way as SIP clients, with the help of Zeenov Agora H.323- SIP Gateway. In this case, Zeenov Agora SIP Gateway handles conference control communication and Zeenov Agora Data Server provides conference data from Zeenov Agora clients to Zeenov Agora MCU to serve H.323 clients and Zeenov Agora MCU provides conference data from H.323 clients to Zeenov Agora Data Server to serve Zeenov Agora clients. If data mixing is required (more than 2 clients) it will be done at Zeenov Agora MCU. vi) vii) Conference between SIP and H323 Clients Conference control communication is handled using Zeenov Agora SIP-H.323 Gateway. The conference data will be traversing through Zeenov Agora MCU. Conference between Zeenov Agora, SIP and H.323 Clients Zeenov Agora Signaling Server and Zeenov Agora SIP Dialog Proxy Server will be involved in setting the conference control communication with the help of both Zeenov Agora SIP- H323 Gateway and Zeenov Agora SIP Gateway. Conference data communication will be through Zeenov Agora Data Server and Zeenov Agora MCU. Zeenov Agora MCU will mix the data if it is required (more than 2 clients) Integration and Deployment The servers can be deployed on any network with sufficient bandwidth. In a typical deployment, we recommend one Windows Server machine and one Linux Server with Ubuntu loaded. Firewalls and Exceptions In a typical server deployment, the server should give exception to listen on port 80 (HTTP) and port 443 (SSL). So firewall exceptions for those 2 ports should be provided for Zeenov Agora to function. 4

5 Server Domain Names/ IPs Zeenov Agora Signaling Server and Zeenov Agora Data Server should either have a domain name or a static IP and should have internet/network access. Other servers /components should be visible to the above two servers. Interoperability with SIP/H.323 end-points Zeenov Agora meeting clients are inter-operable with any SIP/H.323 compliant device. SIP/H.323 devices can be in an Audio, Video and desktop sharing conference with Zeenov Agora clients on PC, Mac, Tablet or smartphones. Zeenov Agora meeting users can view any number of videos from SIP/H.323 devices as well as show any number of videos on the TV connected to the SIP/H.323 end-point using Zeenov Agora s intelligent UI algorithms. SIP/H.323 end-points can also view Mac or Microsoft Windows desktops shared by the Zeenov Agora conference users.
