Project will provide home delivered lunch meals to elderly City residents. # OF BENEFICIARIES: 4 05A - SENIOR SERVICES Area Agency on Aging - LRGVDC Project will be for the purchase of dentures, medications, and hearing aids for elderly residents. The agency provides seniors the opportunity to obtain needed services by planning, coordinating and pooling resources. # OF BENEFICIARIES: 16 05A - SENIOR SERVICES Silver Ribbon Community Partners Program provides education, products, tools, and support services necessary for elderly and disabled victims over 18 years of age that are abused, neglected or have financial exploitation. Funding will pay for medications/dentures, rent, rent deposits, utility payments, utility deposits, and durable medical equipment such as diapers, diabetic supplies, physician,

3 dental, and eyeglasses. # OF BENEFICIARIES: 12 05D YOUTH SERVICES Girls Scouts of Greater South Texas In School Girl Assistance Program FUNDING AMOUNT: $2, The program will provide real life skills such as first aid, nutrition, managing money, decision making skills, and respect for others. Funding will pay for membership fees, and program curriculum. # OF BENEFICIARIES: G BATTERED AND ABUSED SPOUSES Women Together/Mujeres Unidas Provides shelter and support services to women, children, and men who are victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Funding will pay for the salary/fringe benefits of the Battered Intervention and Prevention Program Coordinator. # OF BENEFICIARIES: 12

4 05M - HEALTH SERVICES Dentists Who Care Provide free dental care to low and moderate income school-aged children in Edinburg. # OF BENEFICIARIES: 46 05M - HEALTH SERVICES Ronald McDonald House Charities FUNDING AMOUNT: $10, Provides comfort and care to families of critically ill children at the Edinburg Family Room. Funding will be for salaries, fringe benefits, and food supplies. # OF BENEFICIARIES: 38 05N - ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN Children s Advocacy Center of Hidalgo County Edinburg Kids Project Provides a coordinated one-stop shop team investigation, child forensic interviews, sexual assault examinations, child play therapy/intervention counseling, case review, case tracking and follow-up to reduce the emotional trauma on child victims of violent crimes. Staff costs, overhead, supplies and training costs are included as part of the overall administrative funding request. General Program Administration
