33 Definition of CPD The systematic maintenance, improvement and broadening of knowledge and skill and the development of personal qualities necessary for the execution of professional and technical duties throughout the practitioner s working life.
34 Continuing Professional Development The ABE Code of Conduct obliges members to carry out CPD Members should be responsible for the aims and quality of their own CPD Members should carry out not less than 35 hours of CPD per year, which may be spread over a three year period CPD will be taken into account whenever a member applies for upgrading
