1 Pre- K TALK Supply List Backpack **One that is standard size (not toddler sized) and will hold your child s folder, lunch box and rest blanket (when sent home to be washed). Please label with your child s name. Drink for snack time- please have your child bring a drink for snack each day. This can be a juice box, small bottle of water, filled sippy cup or anything that is appropriate for school. (no soda please!) 1 package of Pull- Ups (if your child needs them). So that we are able to minimize the time spent on diaper changes, we prefer the type of pull- up that has Velcro closure on the sides such as Huggies brand. This allows us to make diaper changes without having to fully undress your child. 1 blanket to be used for rest time. Please be sure to send in only items that will fit into a classroom cubby and that can be left at school. We will send rest blankets home periodically to be washed. Please be sure to label with your child s name. Change of clothing to include a shirt, pants/shorts, underwear and socks. Please put your child s change of clothing in a gallon size Ziploc bag and label it with their name on it. We will keep this at school to use if necessary. 1 Rest Mat. These can be found at Wal- Mart. They are in the school supply section and are called Kindermat. Please label with your child s name on it. Lunch Box or Lunch Money Please do not send food items that need to be cooked or reheated. Per school policy and due to time constraints, we will be unable to heat/cook lunch items. ***THESE SUPPLIES ARE NECESSARY FOR THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL***
