1 IHE Italy Deployment Committee Activity Report Date Activity Report Issued: March 30 th 2013 Mission of IHE Italy Our mission is to promote a national networking base among users, vendors and public administrations of healthcare IT in Italy with the scope of improving interoperability. IHE Italy tasks and objectives are in the same framework of those of IHE International and IHE Europe. These include the promotion of: the knowledge and application of IHE technical frameworks, IHE educational activities, workshops and symposiums, scientific congresses and the participation of italian vendors in the European Connectathon. To interact with public and private healthcare administrations in joint with other healthcare associations in order to promote the utilization of standards in healthcare IT planning or request for proposal or procurement.
