11 Summary of Installations 1,931 of 5,281 hospitals (37 percent) have installed CPACS technology or have signed a contract to install this technology. Catheter laboratory and echocardiology are the most installed modalities at 31 percent each. 1,725 (33 percent) of the hospitals do not provide cardiology services. The average number licensed beds for these hospitals a little over 50. The remaining 1,625 hospitals (31 percent) do not use any of the CPACS technology tracked in this report. N = 5,281
