DESCRIPTION This course is an introductory survey of the major areas of systematic theology from a dispensational, premillennial perspective. The course is designed to provide a basis for further study of theology. II. OBJECTIVES A. General competencies to be achieved. The student will: 1. Receive a survey study of systematic theology. 2. Acquire a familiarity with theological terms and definitions. 3. Understand the importance of this specialized study and become better equipped to further pursue its truths. B. Specific competencies to be achieved. The student will: 1. Gain an appreciation of the systematization of biblical truths. 2. Learn the interrelationship of doctrines within the systematic structure. 3. Develop an understanding of the importance of hermeneutics in understanding revealed truth. 4. Acquire knowledge of the basis and structure of dispensational interpretation of Scripture. 5. Gain an awareness of accountability to God in areas of thought and action. 6. Obtain experience in researching biblical truths while depending on the Holy Spirit to illuminate His Scriptures. Our Mission: To Live According to a Biblical Worldview and Serve

Answers to all questions must be taken from the assigned textbooks for the class unless otherwise noted. The answers to the questions are to be typed (not hand written) and submitted at the end of the class period they are due; the reading is to be done along with answering the questions. Reading is to be recorded as completed and submitted at the beginning of the last class period using the provided reading report sheet. Late reading will receive partial credit; late answer papers will not be accepted. B. You must pass the final exam in order to pass the class. C. Attendance is especially critical for Intensive Courses. An unexcused absence will automatically reduce your final grade by one full letter grade. An additional unexcused absence will result in your automatic withdrawal from the class. IV. METHODS A. Personal study and completed assignments contributing to class discussion will be the primary method of class time. B. Personal conversations with the professor are to be arranged by the student, if determined to be necessary. C. Grades will be weighted as follows: (all assignments worth 100 pts.) 1.
