Signoretti Neurosurgery San Camillo Forlanini Hospital, Rome, Italy Under the auspices of Gruppo di Studio di Neuroanestesia e Neurorianimazione SIAARTI The meeting aims to discuss aspects, indications, procedures, outcomes and future perspectives on what are in our believe, three of the major issues of modern neurotraumatology, namely: Monitoring ICP, Decompressive Craniectomy and Posttraumatic Hydrocephalus. The quintessence of this meeting rises from the strong need to find consistent and evidence-based agreements between neurosurgeons and intensive care physicians in the management of these complicate matters. The program will take a true interdisciplinary approach and will be a unique and exciting opportunity for a valuable scientific discussion to determine the role, benefits, risks and drawbacks of ICP monitoring; timing, indications and outcome of decompressive craniectomy, pathophysiology, diagnosis and identification of shunt-responders in posttraumatic ventriculomegaly.
