(Pump fist in air!) and a Pentecost Event Bible Verse, Psalm 52:8 Psalm 52 verse 8 says: I trust (pull on rope) God s love (hands cross heart) forever and ever. (spin forefinger in a circle) Bible Verse, Philippians 4:13 Philippians 4 verse 13 says: I can do all things (palms down in front of body, open fingers, slide hands back & forth) through Christ (sign Jesus, middle finger to palm, switch hands) who gives me strength. (muscle arms) Song: Jesus Loves Me (traditional tune- we sing this slowly) Jesus loves me this I know, (sign Jesus, hug self, point to head) For the Bible tells me so (Open book) Little ones to Him belong (lightly bounce hands on heads of pretend kids) They are weak but He is strong (Make strong arms) Refrain: The Bible tells me so. 4 4 th Grade: The Apostle s Creed and Matthew 28:19-20 Apostle s Creed I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen The Great Commission Then Jesus came to them and said, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
