1 FROM: The President May 29, 2013 Per Capita Income Guidelines for Operational Purposes The Gross National Income (GNI) guidelines covering the Civil Works Preference, IDA Eligibility, IBRD Terms and the initiation of IBRD graduation process are updated every year, based on the annual rate of change of the SDR-deflator [see President s Memorandum to the Executive Directors dated September 27, 1983 (SecM83-924)]. The updated operational guidelines to be applied during FY14 are as follows: Operational Categories * FY14 Guidelines (2012 US$) (i) Civil Works Preference Less than or equal to $ 1,035 (ii) Effective IDA Eligibility Less than or equal to $ 1,205 (iii) IBRD terms More than $ 1,205 (iv) IBRD Graduation More than $7,115 * These categories reflect changes introduced in accordance with the Memorandum to the Executive Directors dated January 17, 2008 (R ). These estimated ranges, while useful to place the countries in specific operational categories, are shown as NA (not available) in Attachment 1.
