1 DIPLOMA IN NURSING Overview The Diploma in program is offered specially for school leavers interested to pursue a career in nursing. This program will provide students the skills and knowledge required in a broad educational foundation for general nursing practice. Our aims are first to seek knowledge, gaining skills and showing good moral values in nursing practice. And second is to enhance the growth and development of nurses and the nursing profession to meet the current needs and developments. Curriculum, course content, academic standards and course evaluation are specifically designed to enable students to gain and develop the skills and knowledge relevant for a career in nursing. Career and Academic Path Graduates of the Diploma in program will have the opportunity to further their studies to a Bachelor Degree in related fields at local universities. The graduates of this program will be able to obtain positions such as Staff Nurses then by experiences and academic achievements, the graduates will also be qualified to hold various posts in the private sector up to management levels such as Sisters, Matrons, tutors or lecturers at government departments and statutory bodies subject to the conditions of public services.
