Single-factor apportionment based on sales in Georgia applied against a flat 6 percent corporate income tax rate. Right-to-work status Employment-at-will status Pro-business incentive package, including: Job tax credits for new and existing industry. Credits range from $1,250 to $4,000 per new job created and depend on location. Higher credits are awarded to companies locating in the most economically-challenged counties in the state. The highest-level job tax credits are available to companies locating in specially designated opportunity zones, enterprise zones or military zones. Retraining tax credits are available to employers bringing existing employees up to speed on new equipment or technology. Education tax credits are available for basic skills training.
