1 Gel Properties All Fresco gel products contain a cross-linked three-dimensional polymer network swollen in a medical grade mineral oil. The gel contains a medical grade mineral oil that softens, moisturises and lubricates the skin. The oil is released slowly helping to break down keratotic lesions and reduce and prevent keloid and hypertrophic scarring. Friction to the skin is greatly reduced because the top and bottom surfaces of the gel move independently of each other. Because the gel flows in all directions when subjected to weight or pressure, shock, vibration and shear forces are minimised. Unlike standard felts and foams the polymer gel will not bottom out. The gel conforms to bony prominences giving superb comfort and pain relief. The gel has a memory and will quickly return to its original form after being stretched or manipulated. It has an elasticity of 400%. Washable and reusable. Softens and moisturises the skin. Fresco polymer gel is hypoallergenic, non toxic, and does not support bacterial growth. F A pure gel square that can be cut to any shape and fixed with strapping material to protect areas of the body that require relief from friction and require the re-distribution of pressure. This product can be sandwiched between two layers of material when producing Orthotics. Gel 5 mm thick. PURE GEL SQUARE - WITH ADHESIVE BACK REF. F A Pure gel square fixed on a sheet of Moleskin with an adhesive. The square can be cut to any shape and used to protect areas of the body that require relief from friction and the re-distribution of pressure. F SKINGEL: GEL S 2nd SKIN sheet. The Skingel is designed to lights the pressure s pain. Its mineral oil lubricate the skin and help the recuperation of the dermis. F Elastic cotton half-sock, without stitching on the base, with a 3mm thick layer of gel on the sole area and heel, it cushions the foot against knocks, reduces pain and provides considerable comfort. Recommended for people with sole problems, geriatrics, diabetics, people with no plantar adiposity, etc. We recommend putting it over the sock. GEL INSOLE REF. F A sole of the foot protector consisting of a mm thick shock absorption gel film, sandwiched between brushed and elasticised fabric sheets. Provide maximum comfort. (1 pair per pack). Protection Sleeves Our range of protection sleeves/socks have been improved: The fabric: Different fabric altogether, much more elastic, softer to the touch and thinner; takes less space inside the shoe becoming more comfortable. In the heel area, we have removed the seams and loose threats. We have also eliminated the heel shape of the sock to allow the customers to place it exactly where they need it. The gel: With a new moulding system, the gel is attached to the fabric differently, making the gel increasingly thinner on the edges for a more comfortable feel. This new system holds the gel in place better which allows to easily put on and take off the sleeve. At the same time, it prevents the gel from getting unstuck from the fabric thus giving the product a longer life expectancy. 20 INTRODUCTION ACHILLES PROTECTOR SLEEVE REF. F A soft, cushioning therapeutic 3 mm thick gel pad moulded in a toeless sock, cushions and protects the Achilles tendon by absorbing pressure and friction. Indicated to alleviate pain related Achilles tendonitis, bursitis, among other Achilles injuries. Protects the Achilles tendon from friction, sores and corns especially when wearing sportive boots.
