The project Reliable information made available to analyze impact of CC on forests in the Med and formulate realistic strategies and measures for adaptation Experiences/ lessons shared on best practices Policy makers are familiar with the anticipated socioeconomic impacts on environmental functions of forests Exchange, dialogue, communication among Mediterranean countries Other financial partners are interested in the adaptation process and mobilized for financial agreements

Other FAO Related activities FAO/ CIHEAM regional workshop on Mediterranean Forest Genetic Resources and Climate Change in collaboration with EFIMED, EUFORGEN/Bioversity, IUFRO and the Ministry of Rural Development and Food (Greece), in Greece, November 09 FAO's regional analyses of forests and climate change - mitigation and adaptation considerations, the Near East region analysis will be done in 2010 FAO's work to develop guidelines for incorporating CC into national forest policy processes and into forest management at the forest management until level.
